I called the shop today and heard on their voicemail message that Mark has passed away. The store is open on Saturdays only and is for sale.

Great spot to get your gear and local intel. Went in to get some crab snares and sure enough I found ones, and much better than you can get online or in generic stores. Good prices, great staff what else to ask for.

New and improved! The new owners Mark and Sue that took over Marque(r.i.p.) revamped the store and outfitted with some new gear with more on the way! Same great prices and same great service! The main reason why I've been shopping at this local mom and pop store for over 20 years!

This bait shop been here since I was a kid. They are very helpful and very nice. I was very surprise that they are still open all these years. I was 14 when I first went fishing and we been buying our bait there when we fish at the pier. I haven't fish for over 30 years and I am very surprise that that shop still open. It's a good place to buy your fishing baits and gears. RIP to the owner who just passed away last week!!!!

I loved the the old owner, RIP. But new one did a great job with updating the store! Everything you need for Bay Area fishing. Prices are fair and he has live bait!

This was my first time here and the guy behind the counter was helpful with any questions we had.

This was right on the way to the pacifica pier and will stop by again next time.

Yeah this place is severely overpriced for everything. For example, the crab guage I purchased because I forgot mine at home he sold me for $14. This very same one sells everywhere else for $2. Do yourself a favor and come to this area prepared
