Fantastic atmosphere. Fantastic staff. Fantastic food. Probably my favorite place in Southport for Sunday lunch. Had a lamb and mint burger — absolutely delicious. A+++
Beef burger - with cheese and onion rings - side of fries and coleslaw- PERFECT!!! Proof that you don’t need to serve fancy sounding dishes - focus on simple but cooked to perfection ????????????
A short walk away from the seafront, this pub is not to be missed. The food was good quality and really well priced. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the beer was decent too.
Had a fabulous Xmas turkey dinner yesterday. Huge, tasty and hot meal. Great service and price. Will definitely be returning.

Massive menu reasonably priced. We had fish, chips & mushy peas-small bites portion £8.95. Plenty big enough at lunchtime or anytime. Main meals we saw being served looked very generous.
Busy place serving good large portions of food at reasonable prices and a great atmosphere, pity it wasn't dog friendly or I would have been in every night of my 8 day stay, but I understand when I see some dog owners not keeping control of their dogs.
