Thank you Jahaira for my hair style! I only go to the same salon over 10 yrs but it’s too far & i had a wedding i wanted the same look i came on a busy sat with only 1.5 hours to get home & be ready, & Jahaira took me quickly bc she knew i was in a rush & she did exactly what i wanted in about 25 min & great price ! Def coming back
I recently moved to Long Island and needed a new salon to go to. I googled salons near me and Jahaira’s Salon came up right away. I assumed this would be one of many shops I try before I find the right one and let me tell you!!!! I don’t need to look any further. The women/stylist here are extremely friendly and efficient; from the lady washing my hair to the stylist at the end. I’m so happy I found this salon and it’s only a few minutes away from my residence. On a side note, I was suggested to try keratin instead of a relaxer and I am o. LOVE with my hair. From sitting in the chair waiting for my hair to dry I’ve seen weaves being installed, ponytails being slayed????, nails, pedicures etc. the point I’m trying to make is that you can get everything done in one place. All three of my Sisters now come to this salon and they live in Queens!! THANK YOU JAHAIRA???? and thanks to the excellent ladies that work there. If you’re on the fence, just try it out. I’m so happy I did!
Workers were rude and disrespectful to my sister. Next time the employees want to talk about their customers in another language make sure the customer doesn’t speak that same language. On top of that they couldn’t even layer my sisters hair properly. Poor skills and poor customer service. Employees need to find a new profession!
I’ve visited this place multiple times to get my hair blow dried . They’d do an ok job. One day I decided to get my hair trimmed. I did so with Jahaira, I believed that she would be the most skilled one, so I trusted her with my hair. I had long curly hair down to my butt. I had about 4ins of damaged hair, I wanted that much to be trimmed and to keep my hair in layers. She trimmed my hair but didn’t keep it in layers and made it U style. I had to go back another day to get V layers. I regret that. Honestly I don’t think she knows how to do layers. She cut more length and gave horrible layers. My natural hair looks like if I had extensions on put badly. I am so unhappy with my hair. Now I will need to let it grow so that I can have it the way I like it. I would not recommend going here for haircuts or trimming.
I am extremely happy with the service here. The fact that I literally just left there and had to sing their praises, says a lot. I have natural hair, and decided on getting a wash and blow. I can’t stop smiling. I feel like a different person lol. I highly recommend! Amazing!!!!!
It was my first time there. I found this place through a recommendation of a friend and I absolutely loved it. The staff is so friendly and not to mention the owner. They took their time doing my hair and I haven’t had my hair feeling this healthy in so long. Absolute love this place and will be going back!
