Called for breakfast this morning. No porridge unfortunately. The large breakfast was the usual that Wetherspoons offers although one of the sausages had a piece of bone in it.
The tired interior is in need of a total refurbishment.
The staff were wonderful.
Came here for a quick bite to eat before going to the theatre across the road. It was Friday night and very busy. Despite this we found a seat and was clean and tidy inside. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and was easy to order through the app. The woman who brought our food was really helpful and friendly.
I recently visited The White Hart - JD Weatherspoons and overall my experience was ok. The food was decent, but nothing too special. The service was friendly and attentive, however the atmosphere was a bit lacking. I think the place could use a bit of a facelift, but otherwise it was a decent place to grab a bite to eat.
Normally eat here at least twice a week but sadly today was given a rubbery steak and asked for a replacement which the manager denied claiming a replacement would also be rubbery as they are from the same batch. Rather shocked by the response we asked for a refund for both our meals which again was refused by the manager but following prolonged complaints the manager issued a refund and throw the refund receipt at us. We left very dissatisfied and disappointed by this manager, his attitude and reluctance to cook a fresh steak which was all that was needed to resolve the issue! Exceedingly poor service!
Ordered a drink on a quiet night and once served was told to step away from the bar as drinkers not allowed to linger...My mistake, thought it was a pub. Staff less than welcoming to say the least, zero atmosphere, lighting so bright felt like I was on floodlight pitch losing 7-0 to Liverpool!
Service at bar good let down by all spare tables had not been cleared we have sat at our table over 1/2hour and its still not been cleared
Nice setting and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. However, my food turned up lukewarm.
