1,Car park was great plenty of room

2,pub is a lovely old pub nice and warm after a long walk

3, Food not that special only beef gravy for beef ham and turkey .

4, miss match of veg

Yorkshire pudding.

And the meal was cold

Pudding was lovely

I’ve only given 3*** just for the pub and parking .

More help is need with serving the food to get the food out hot

No comment on the drink as we never had a drink

Staying in the area and it was my birthday so decided to have a meal out. What a lovely pub and lovely people. Was a Friday night and it was busy. Was a rather large party booked in at a similar time to us but the staff were very honest that we may have to wait a while... Which we didn't mind at all. Food was superb. I was absolutely full at the end. A good selection of ale on tap. This was the only night we had a meal but had called in a couple of times before just for a drink. Would definitely go again when next in the area.

Had the Sunday carvery with my son after walking Offa's dyke. Brilliant service and food. Hopefully I'll get a chance to go back.
