The waitress serving us was lovely, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the prices weren’t bad either! I got a kids fish & chips (as they didn’t do small portions), which I was glad I was able to get because some places don’t allow you to purchase kids food unless it’s for a child. Even for a child, the size of the fish was huge! The fish & chips were delicious, the fish was really flaky and moist. Even the plates of chips were a decent size too.

We weren’t waiting long at all for our drinks or food, despite how busy the restaurant was.

I can honestly see why this is the famous fish pan! Every time I go to Scarborough, I come here. The food is lovely and full of flavour. The staff are welcoming. You are never waiting long for your food. It is never overly expensive. I have no complaints only that I wish it was closer to home! Great food and service. Keep it up.

Cod and chips, sit in, on Scarborough seafront for only £7:95!! Portion was huge. Cooked perfectly and served by friendly helpful staff. What more can you ask for… Takeaway availability downstairs too. Definitely our favourite chip shop (restaurant).

Lovely little fish and chip shop on the main front. They have a cafe upstairs which has some nice sea views if you can get the tables when it's less busy.

We shared a Jumbo meal between 2 of us and it was plenty of food.

Firstly i was apprehensive due to awful reviews coming from a nearby business that is attempting to ruin this icon8c fish shop.

I came up from London to visit as a UK person that eats this daily in our English diet , I can say the staff were lovely the cod was excellent with crispy batter and nice chunky not frozen.

The chips are home cooked and lovely potatoes seasons and potatoes change. Scampi in batter was excellent fresh from Whitby not frozen.

Toikets clean place clean sauces drinks tasty.

Fish and chips fresh as can be.

We have fresh fish shops in London at twice the price.

I am unsure what the complainers are looking for perhaps you want fish in breadcrumbs.

Simply the best fish and chip shop in all of Scarborough, really can't be beaten.

The fish is perfectly cooked and flavourful, the batter is the perfect thickness and has the best crunch and the curry sauce is delicious and slightly sweet.

It's all perfection.

Popped by today (3rd July) for that traditional fish and chips by the sea and was not disappointed the service was 5 star and the food quality was hard to beat. Me and my friend couldn’t think of anything they could do better. We will be back ????????

Fresh flakey fish. Friendly elegant and relaxed service. Good location with good sea and harbour views from restaurant upstairs. Not the cheapest in Scarborough, but definitely Value for money.
