Style Nation is the best hair salon I’ve found in Reading. The owner, Kimmy, and everyone else working there are super professional and friendly from the moment you walk in.
They stock a wide range of products in store and they have the skill to deliver every hairstyle for any hair type.
I love their system of working where the stylists rotate between clients to match the style or skill requirements.
I’d 100% recommend booking an appointment if you want professionally done hairstyles that lasts. They service Afro-Caribbean hair as well as Caucasian and straight hair.
A little known fact that I learnt as well: if you had your hair done recently and for example, a plait came loose, you can get it redone for free. That was great to know as it solves the issue instead of leaving a bad review ????????
Kimmy is nothing short than amazing ! I struggled to find a great BBQ hairdresser and stylist and once I it was heaven sent !! My hair has grown so much since coming to Kimmy and her service is always 5 star ! She is very knowledgeable on hair and she is very professional in hair care and her team is amazing ! All so lovely and very intent on making sure your hair is healthy and styled and slayed !!She is literally the best ! Everyone should go to Kimmy !! Your hair will literally thank you !

The people were friendly and they kindly took my booking without an appointment. A good service, but the price was a bit of a hit. £80 for a quick #trimming #cut & #relaxer. I found this #costly but I would still #recommend them if you are #treating #yourself or if you can #afford #it.

Kimmy has been doing my hair for over a year now and I am always so pleased with the result. The salon is bright, clean and tidy and she has a professional, welcoming team. Kimmy is an expert in her field and its so nice to have a local hairdresser that would rival any London salon. My appointments are always on time and I cannot recommend her highly enough and would not dream of going anywhere else. ????

Kim is amazing she made my dream hair come true. I sent her a picture of what I want she got everything right especially the colour which was so important. The hospitality in the shop was just amazing!!!
