This place is nice, very clean. Many barbers to choose from. First time here and Alexa cut my hair as soon as I walked in, and she did an amazing job. I will definitely going back to her from now on. I've been going to my other barber for 20+years.
Messed up my son’s hair! My son already had a hard part and the old guy in the back asked how I wanted it faded. When we got home I noticed he made a second hard part so my son has two on his head now. Thanks for messing up my sons hair before his football pictures! I won’t ever go back to to this place and will tell everyone what happened and to stay away!
Tried this place for the first time, my 5 year old son and I needed a haircut. My son wanted me to get my cut first so he could get comfortable with the place, so I did. During my the time that I was getting my cut done, the barber told me that he had appointments coming in after me so he would not be able to cut my son's hair, but any of the other 4 barbers should be able to take care of him. Once my cut was done, I get up and I look at all the other barbers and I asked if any of them had time, most of them ignored me, one of them said I have appointments coming in. The barber that cut my hair realized what was going on and also asked and still nobody responded much. The barber shop was silent, they only had one person getting a hair cut and it got awkward. They were all chillin on their cellphone. I felt offended, not one of them offered an appointment time or explained how long it would take. They legit did not care for helping with my sons haircut, my son looked at me like what is going on... this sort of felt humiliating. I paid for my cut and I got out of there. I took my son elsewhere. I don't do reviews but this situation really bothered me, being that it involved my child. Very unprofessional.
The gentleman that cut my hair was a very nice gentleman and it was nice chatting with him but unfortunately it was not enough to give the shop a better review.
I tried cutting my own hair at home in Sutter Creek before I went to Disneyland stopped at my son's house in Bakersfield and I realized I needed to have professional help to at least even some of it out. It's hard to cut your hair looking in the mirror he was a Sunday we're going to be in Disneyland the next day and only barber shop I could find open was pure Bliss in Bakersfield and they gave me as flat as a flat top as they could be in that I sort of messed it up pretty good myself. Yes I would go there again if I need a haircut next time I'm at my son's house

Needed a hair cut last week and all the usual suspects were closed, all the chain places. This place was open so decided to go and loved it. Super clean, great environment. Great employees. Just got a reg men’s haircut and the guy even used a straight razor to finish off the edges. 20$ plus tip might be a few bucks more than a chain place but I think worth it. Will definitely be coming back. My guy only accepted cash which might be an inconvenience to some but I had cash on me and he said there was an ATM next door.

This is my favorite new barber shop. I used to go to great clips but was fed up with waiting in line only to get a sub par haircut. The guys at pure bliss do a fantastic job. Perfect haircut every time.cool vibe in the shop as well
