Absolutely disgusting, 4 meals came out almost stone cold, onion rings were burnt 2 a crisp, lasagne was burnt n grosse. The staff are HORRENDOUS!!! Got served by the 'manager', same table ordering but only took half the order n made us wait 2 order the other half with another staff member after 10mins! Both members of staff (one behind the upstairs bar and one the 'manager' upstairs were beyond RUDE and unprofessional. And the best bit, THE WHOLE PUB HAD NO SALT?!?!?! There's a shop over the road?! U don't accept a lot from muggs but defo expect more then the shocking food we had today and the horrendous staff
It's ok. As far as Spoons go, you're much better off going to the Society Rooms. Much higher turnover and better quality beer and food can be had there. Having said that, if you're after a cheap pint, then this place will do in a pinch.
Very nice cosy Wetherspoon. UK's most popular pub chain that offers food, hot and cold drinks etc. This one in particular in an old building. It has very nice spacious hall with a lot of table. It had front and backyard gardens. Food is bargain. Especially I have tried curry ?chicken tikka masala. It was really delicious. On Thursdays there is curry offer usualky 2 pounds cheaper than usual. Coffee and tea is refill and 1.35 p only. I highly recommend this place.

I had a big breakfast at this wetherspoons and my wife had scrambled eggs on toast although it was fast service and my breakfast was top notch. Her scrambled egg was bland and dry. I think it was more personal preference and not a slight on the food.
I would go back again. But prefer to support all of the local traders.
