I am disappointed.. the pedicure was okay felt rushed and for a spa pedi not really worth it. Then asked to fix the dip powder mani that was actually just done before coming dts but while working I chipped a nail. Well it took a long time to figure out what to do until finally I asked for a polish change… well the way the dip was layered was HORRIBLE. it was beyond lumpy, sloppy and didn’t even look like the correct base to apply the dip was used. She then filed and buffed but the color looked worn out from her buffing the larger lumps down. The edges of my nail look uneven and the gel covered over onto my skin which I peeled off as the day went on. To top it off I was charged the full $40 for a dip gel mani.
I guess if you go here make sure you go to specific ppl who know what they are doing.
I’ve heard great things about Rose and Tina unfortunately they were both busy when I went.
Poor service. I did my Manicure and pedicure last September 16, 2021. The woman who did my nails didn't pay attention of what she's doing and literally ruined my nails. This is what happened to my nails after.. I am not going back to that place anymore!
I have been going to Glitzy Nails since it first opened. Recently the owners moved away, and it was taken over. I would recommend Rose over and over again!
She takes her time, is very professional, talented and patient! She always takes care of my 5 year old daughter too. Rose always does a little extra to make her feel special!
It is unfortunate, that in order for me to compose this review I must assign a star as they deserve none. I made an appointment for 5:30 this evening. At which time I arrived, they seemed a little bit perplexed and excited. They told me it would be 10 minutes I said ok and sat to wait. I watched 3 woman arrive and be seated as they had appointments, and yet I was there earlier for “my” appointment. I waited 15 minutes. A tech approached me and told me she can remove my polish but nothing else as she was waiting for her appointment. As she was in the process of removing my polish her client arrived she put her tool down and said sorry I will send you over to him he will take your polish off. I went over to his table asked him if he was going to complete my fill he said no he had an appointment. I got up stoped at the owners table to let her know I had an appointment too. It was for 5:30 and it was now 6:00 p m . I assured her I would not be returning and word of mouth was the best form of advertising. I will make sure I tell my friends and family never to patronize her business. She responded I’m sorry I’m sorry. Well I am sorry too as you wasted my time you lack professionalism and frankly don’t care about establishing a rapport with a potential new client. Stay far far far away. What should have been a relaxing evening turned out to be filled with aggravation and not not nail gel. Horrible horrible way to treat your customers. Not worth the trip or time.
Great people however I always have an issue with my gel nails chipping. I don’t know if it’s the quality of their products but the same day I get them done they start chipping! So frustrating after spending over 100 dollars.
Rose fixed up my acrylic set that I let my friend practice on me, it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t my style. They were long so I cut them down and switched the color. She fixed the shape completely and transformed my nails, I love them!!!:)
This Was my first-time going here and was so looking forward to it! Everything was going fine until she started cutting my toenails, she cut too deep and my toe Started Bleeding!! What was supposed to be relaxing was painful and stressful/Never again will I ever go here and if you want to get cut and be in pain,I would advise going somewhere else! They are lucky that I don't sue for what they did to me! Horrible!!She didn't even try to compensate or feel bad for what she did, she blamed my toe instead of cutting too deep! She should be ashamed of herself and how they run their business!!
Unsanitary, I went in for a pedicure that was mediocre to start with, a few days later my toes started to hurt and feel uncomfortable, so I take the polish off and I developed fungus and my toe nail snapped right off. Very upset and disappointed.
