We've all had tens, hundreds, even thousands of haircuts..but not every haircut is the same. I learned that today. I walked into a barber shop today feeling mediocre, and I left feeling like a 10. Allen takes care of you. Great conversation, he cares about his clients, and most of all does an excellent job. Got a great haircut and beard trim at an awesome price. Allen will get a cut that will make you a life long customer, thanks man!

Man where do I begin? New to the city and needed a nice yet professional cut so I Googled barber shops to come across this place. After reading everyone's positive reviews, I thought I'd give him a shot and boy are the reviews accurate! Not only was he and the atmosphere friendly, but he took his time to understand how I wanted my hairstyle and did it exactly the way I wanted. Very good barber and recommend him to anyone who hasn't been yet and is still deciding. Looking forward to my next haircut!

I have been looking for a permanent barber for my boys and had a very bad experience at the last barber I took my boys too. I stumbled upon Allen on google, took my boys to him and am extremely pleased with the results! He talked to my boys and treated them with respect. I love how he got my boys styles perfect buy just looking at a picture. He will be our forever barber from now on. I highly recommend him! Thanks Allen!!!

I was in the chair when she showed up at 4:35 pm and my appointment was for 4:30 pm. I get a high top fade and facial beard work, it takes well over 30 mins if you want it done right and clean. I've been a faithful customer of Allen's for awhile now since he does a great job.

When the lady came in she asked for his services while I was getting a hair cut. Allen was polite and said "yes he could do it but not today becuase I was his last person and the shop closes at 5pm and he had to be somewhere". She insisted about getting her cut. She then gave her speech about how she works in the service industry. He was still polite and said sorry he can't. Then she said "the door says walk up were welcomed" and he said "if another barber was there at the time it wouldn't be an issue".

She then ask for his name and he gave it to her, as she was about to leave she said "is it because I'm a woman"? Allen said "no I have to be somewhere after 5pm".

He was the only barber at the shop when this happened. Also he had to pick up his daughter after 5pm but that's none of her business to know.

BEST FADE IVE EVER GOTTEN!!! Allen is the king of a GOOD skin fade. I have lived in NYC the last 2 years paying anywhere from $65-100 for a good barber. Allen not only delivers exceptional service and skill, but at an incredible value. He takes the time to listen to his clients to ensure he can deliver the vision they have for their hair. Each move is methodical and precise, I’ve never felt instantly more comfortable in the chair of a professional. Will definitely be coming back here from now on. Highly recommend.
