First off this place needs a complete makeover inside ! The outside looks nice until you walk in . I called the place yesterday to advise them that it had not even been a week I got my nails done and one of nails broke . I was told to come in today at 3:30 to have the nail repair done . I came in and the lady acted like I didn’t call yesterday. So rather than dealing with the ignorance, and continuing back and forth I told her I will NEVER consider them again in front of Al the customers so they know what type of people they’re dealing with . I definitely do not recommend this place at all. Their customer services is terrible . They don’t even deserve a star .
Cindy is wonderful, very courteous. She remembers her clients well, even recognizing their voice on the phone! She has great rapport with her customers. The shop is clean and clients seem to be very loyal. They’re busy, so I’d recommend calling ahead. I’ve been going to Avocado Nails for a little under a year and I’ve always had a good experience.
We made appointments and they didn’t honor it. Made us wait 10 minutes and then said they were ready. They weren’t and had me sit down for another 10 minutes.
The smell is so bad in the shop. Chemicals and cigarettes. I have a migraine now.
The woman gave me a 15 minute pedicure. I was texting my mom and I guess she called and told them that that’s unacceptable. The woman ended up taking my polish off to give a longer massage.
I wanted to give one star but my husband enjoyed his pedicure so he had me put 3.
I have been here twice so far. I don't normally ever do my nails. It's rare but when I randomly decided to get them done one day I literally ran into this place and I thought, why not. I have not been disappointed so far, my nails are good, I'm not the type to have long extravagant nails and these simple color gel acrylics are super cute and amazing. They take their time and are very careful. Might just be getting my nails done more often. And the price is decent too.
Great place! I have been going since I got my nails done from Prom back in 2001. Great family dynamic! (My nails for my Disneyland trip, thanks Holly).
My nails always turn out so pretty when I go here. I always just walk-in and I'm seen very quickly. It's one of my favorite nail spots in East County since it's quick, affordable, and they can replicate most nail looks you're wanting to try from Pinterest or wherever!
I am taking off one star only because I didn’t get the exact set that I asked for. I asked for the design in the picture. It’s okay. Not the end of the world! The staff are kind, efficient, and hard workers. The prices are okay, but the other areas could be more clean such as the nail station and the chairs.
I wouldn’t recommend this place. My mom used to go here for years and then I tired booking an appointment with them, lady says “oh we remember you, you came in for a refund one time.” them mixing me up with somebody else refusing to take me for an appointment when I never came and asked for a refund. Poor communication, very rude and customer service is horrible. They do your pedicure in a little bucket white they do your manicure and then charge you spa price. Promise you’ll be better off at any other salon.
