I finally had an opportunity to try the selections at M& M Restaurant, located in Carson, CA! I was actually recommended to try the entrees, great choice.
I actually order from their Signature Breakfast menu - Chicken Wings(3). This entree can with Country-style Potatoes, 2 Eggs and Toast.
The meal was tasty,well-seasoned and the portions were good. I actually ended up enjoying the entree for both Breakfast and lunch. The service was good and the atmosphere was cozy.
In terms of the menu selection, M&M Restaurant serves both Breakfast,, Lunch and Dinner and it offers variety in meal selection options.
I would definitely order from M& M Restaurant again; next visit I'll order from the Lunch or Dinner menu! Definitely checkout this restaurant, located in Carson, California!
First time going to m&M's soul food. The food was real good. I would recommend ordering ahead. The first time I went I got the catfish nuggets which were good. The next time I got the fried chicken entree which is really what I wanted the first time. It didn't disappoint. Yummy
The service was great!! The fried chicken ???? was sooo delicious and the chicken wings were gigantic.The portion of food they give you is unrealistic trust me u will bring some home. Visiting from Houston Texas.????????????????????????
By me being from the SOUTH, HOUSTON TEXAS TO BE EXACT. This place is by far the best BREAKFAST I've had in California. Even better than Roscoe's (just saying)it's over rated. But this place BREAKFAST IS AMAZINGGG.Being from the SOUTH we are all about flavor. And it makes since because the owner is from MISSISSIPPI ????.**SHAY** WAS OUR WAITER AND SHE WAS AMAZING AS WELL. CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BUSINESS AND GOD BLESS. ????
Delicious having catfish and grits for breakfast. The only sad part is they ran out of biscuits by 10am. Next time I'm ordering ahead???? Porkchops tasted like how grandpa made them.
*I am from the South! This means I ate soul food for dinner 6 out 7 nights a week! So this is a valid review!
The smell soon as you walk into this restaurant sets you up! Everything smells so good you want to order the entire menu! The girls in the front are so polite the encouraged me to go ahead a indulge! Lol
My mistake was taking my food to go! It smelled so good I almost could not focus on the road! For that reason the corn bread did not arrive that’s why it isn’t pictured! I promise you are silly not try this spot! I wish I lived closer I’d eat her 7 nights a week and spend my entire check here!! Lol
I had the BBQ pork ribs with three sides. Rice and gravy which was very bland, collard greens, and candied yams. Our server brought us our food but no silverware. We asked for some but she said they are all dirty and in dishwasher now. So we waited about 5 minutes while our food got cold. We asked for at least a plastic fork so she did bring us that. Eventually we got a real fork. I asked for ice water but never received it. We also requested some cornbread which we never received until we were loading our go boxes. The collard greens were tuff and bland. But the candied yams were delicious. It was busy but I would think they would be used to that. It was very chaotic and we had very poor service. And definitely overpriced. Four of us ate with no dessert and it was $95. I ????????
Yesterdsy, I Spent $45.00 on Meatloaf, Oxtails, Rice and Gravy Mac N Cheese, Greens and "nasty" Sweet Tea.
The way the packaging was done, it took one turn in my car and everything toppled and was mixed together...
The service itself was very "impersonable" and unfriendly.
The food was "okay", not nearly worth what I payed.
Won't be back.
