Wir sind spontan zu diesem Restaurant gefahren und haben eine sehr gute Wahl damit getroffen....Es war sehr gemütlich... Das Bier war toll und das Essen sehr lecker... Es gab eine kleine übersichtliche Karte mit tollen Gerichten
(auch vegetarisch) es hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen und das Essen war ein Traum, es war toll angerichtet... was mich auch sehr beeindruckt hat, war als die Köchin selbst fragte, ob es geschmeckt hat, wie toll... Es gab auch Jägermeister, in Deutschland würde man glaube ich Jägerbaum sagen ???? der Mitarbeiter an der Bar war auch zauberhaft... Ich würde wiederkommen...
Went here for a birthday breakfast with our friends which was lovely. We also went for lunch the week before. The food is excellent, the place is really nice and the staff were great. Definitely worth a visit. Will definitely go and sit outside when the weather improves as it is a lovely spot alongside the river with a fab deck. Photos are of the breakfast and the lunch . I had fish and chips and my husband sausage and mash.
Firstly VAMOS had good availablity we were able to get a table for two after ringing in the morning.
Arriving at VAMOS, there is no parking to speak of, patrons Park on the pavement area directly outside or on the street outside.
Inside is the restaurant we were greeted at the bar area and shown to our table.
We order and there was a little confusion round the order which was quickly resolved.
We ordered the chicken liver pate for starters, beautifully presented, only complaint was that the pate is in little jars and it difficult to get it all out, felt like Winnie the Pooh with a honey jar trying to get it all out.
For Lunch we both had the Sunday roast with Pork, plenty of meat, roast potatos, cauliflower & broccoli cheese and seasonal veg medley. Again well presented and beautifully cooked, plenty of food.
We were so full, we skipped the dessert, but there is a nice selection of cakes and desserts on show in the chill cabinet.
VAMOS has a modern hipster pub vibe, it's dog friendly and has plenty of space for larger parties and an outside area to, there wasn't any people in our area and felt the atmosphere was a bit flat.
Overall really liked our visit, the food was excellent, service was good and the atmosphere pleasant. As a new restaurant I felt there is still a few improvements that will come in time and the restaurant will better for it. Look forward to visiting again.
We celebrated our wedding there and have to say it was superb. The food was great and good sized portions. The cheese cake was amazing. Helen was brilliant through the lead up dealing with nervous clients and making sure we felt great. It was very fairly priced and any other function we intend to have will be there for sure.
Had a really lovely meal here with my family to celebrate my birthday. Lovely atmosphere. Beautifully decorated. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the curry was delicious. The children ate free - which we didn’t realise till we paid bill at end ????. Fab service and friendly staff. Will definitely be going back.
We had Sunday lunch here, what a lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff very friendly , Couldn’t do enough for you. All fresh vegetables, with a wide variety. I would highly recommend. Will defiantly return
Myself and fiance went for Sunday roast today! Great venue and food was lovely out of the kitchen in good time and the waiting staff were excellent. Being a chef myself I know the pressure of the kitchen and environment but we had a great experience will definitely return well done to the chef,kitchen team and the friendly staff....
Beautiful lunch today for Christmas with friends. Fish cooked beautifully. Deserts were a bit limited as most had chocolate which I don’t like but the waitress went out of her way to find deserts without which was very thoughtful.
