5* Pub, Dog Friendly, Log Burners, What more can you ask for?
Large Forrest located directly behind the pub to walk the dog, run or mountain bike????.
Call in advance to check if food is served if you aim to eat.
My dog loves it that much I struggle to get him to leave!
Lovely place to stop and have a pint when travelling around. Owners were very accommodating and let us go behind the bar to have photo taken. Very nice stop and had a great atmosphere.
A warm welcome awaits at this iconic pub, star of the ITV soap Emmerdale. Food is normally available but they were just getting the kitchen ready after the pandemic so I can't comment on the food. However the host more than made up for our disappointment with her friendly warm welcome. Lots of photos of the stars are dotted about the walls. It has a lovely homely feel to it and the landlady was happy to take our photos for us. Large enough car park to the rear, and outdoor seating.
Lovely small village where emmerdale was originally filmed for 22yrs in Esholt. Filming stopped in 1997. Had a larger shandy in Woolpack and walked around this beautiful village. The first scenes of the village appeared in 26thJanuary 1976, episode 291.
Lovely, friendly place. We came in our motorhome and they were happy for us to park out back for the night. Reasonably priced drinks and lovely atmosphere ???? thanks for having us
Was at the woolpack yesterday with my 94 year old friend who I take places she loved it

Who loves life .I'm glad she got go woolpack and enjoy a drink In her favourite pub from TV
Iconic for Brits in the know, from the soap opera Emmerdale. This is the pub the show's pub was named for. Good beer and a very pleasant outdoor area in front of the pub and in the heart of the village.
Visited the Woolpack on a North Yorkshire Dales weekend away from Dorset. Apparently the pub had only been reopened a week after being shut for 2 months. Lovely welcoming landlord who never got fed up with all the Emmerdale fans. Even made Scrappy (our cocker spaniel) very welcome too. Loved seeing all the signed pictures of the Emmerdale cast on the walls.
