Super feiner, kreativer Food! Wir kommen wieder!
Great little restaurant!
They have a great selection of seafood (and meat/ vegan choices too) and the choice of beers not bad either.
I would high recommend any of the mussel dishes and the Hot mix. Really friendly, attentive staff.
Walk-in only at the moment...no reservations taken.
Looking forward to our revisit!
What an amazing place. Me and my son visited for the first time today. Great quality seafood and a good price, especially considering right on the front. Lovely service. And so lucky to have a live singer too, who was fab. Can't fault it, will definitely be back.
A lovely friendly place. Slightly different to the other seafood restaurants nearby. The food is more dressed up and the sides and sauces quite different. Ordered 4 dishes, all of which we devoured! All extremely fresh and tasty. I have to mention the friendly staff, they really went out of their way to make sure we had everything, and adjusted our dishes to our requirements. Will definitely return!
Quick lunch while on a weekend escape from London
We went there as we noticed that the restaurant was not offering just fish and chips as the vast majority of restaurants located in the seafront
We ordered king prawns, garlic mussels, a platter of fried seafood and some raw fish.
The garlic mussels and king prawns were very good. The platter for two was perhaps not really worth it, it’s a lot of heavy food with relatively little taste. The raw fish was excellent, prawns and cockles tasted incredibly fresh
Kind staff
Wow, far surpassed all our expectations for a sea front restaurant! Lovely, friendly & bubbly staff, full bar, really fresh seafood prepared simply, yet executed with ❤️. Look at that beautifully composed seafood cocktail! (I added a yummy dressed Cromer crab). Properly-shucked, VERY fresh oysters with liquor left in and foot removed. Some of the best chips ever with the fish (see caption). The flavourful paella was a special they let us photograph and taste. Really lovely interactive experience and not expensive: at all. Worth driving to for a real treat.
Good value seafood dishes, they are all fresh and tasty. I found the hot dishes portions smaller than the cold ones, and it’s better to order a side altogether as the place gets very busy during dinner time.
We got one of our order wrong: ordered a side but comes a platter. The waitress tried to argue with us but problem fixed at the end. (Although I don’t understand how it could be taken wrong, after some oysters and whelks and two mains with bread, why would someone order a large mixed tapas platter for 2 at the end? Maybe they’re just too busy to double check.)
Nevertheless I would still recommend this restaurant and will be happy to visit again.
Wonderful seafood restaurant bar. Booked a table 15 mins before arriving on a busy Saturday and they were able to accommodate including my dad who was in a wheelchair. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Top marks to them.
The ambience was great and we got talking to a couple on the next table local to the area who mentioned this place was quite a rowdy pub before becoming this restaurant. I’m glad it’s doing well
Food was excellent. Great portions and delicious. Loved the chips and mussels as the highlight. Some nice zero alcohol beers as well which I wasn’t expecting
Would throughly recommend this restaurant to all visitors.
