What a delightful down home country cooking restaurant. Place is filled with nostalgic items. Waitress LORI was very nice and helpful with the wide choice menu. JAIME though not our server was super nice and attentive. As a first time visitor I will definitely go back...so many things to try. Great bakery too.
I felt as though I'd gone back to a gentler time when you are truly "served with a smile". This is a place to bring your kids to see carousel horses from back in the day. The staff were amazing! Our waitress and the gentleman who brought our after meal desserts were friendly and kind with great smiles! And the food was fantastic, and when we paid our bill, the cashier was so sweet, laughing and chatting with us like a friend. Please try this place at least once, and you'll find yourself returning again, and again. Thank you to all!
Delicious home style meals. Tried the fresh baked cinnamon roll and it is amazing. It is soft, warm, doughy and the pad of butter just sends it to another level. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak and eggs which was full of flavor and cooked perfectly with the best crunch. The gravy was good, could use a bit more meat flavor. Coffee was delicious and paired amazingly well with the cinnamon roll.
Family owned and operated! A long time favorite of ours as they have been in business for about 40 years!! We stopped by this morning for breakfast and they were very busy. The wait for a table for 4 people was only about 15 minutes and the food came out very fast and HOT!! The portions are very generous and everything is scratch made to order! My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs! YUM! They have many different flavors of fresh pie and their cinnamon rolls are fresh baked the size of a small dinner plate with lots of gooey icing! Highly recommend this little gem!!
Okay this place was so delicious, the price can be a little high, depending on what you order, like my malt that was $6.99 and one coffee for $3.99, but the portions of food are huge, the coffee is all you can drink and the malt was so much so overall it makes up for it. Try the chicken fried steak, it's so yummy. It's a nice little place, I felt like I was in a western movie vintage diner! I went twice in my 2022 California Vacay!
