Great pub with a vibrant atmosphere. Student friendly, huge beer garden and great food (especially the burgers). The landlord and landlady (and their dog Clyde) are what make this place as great as what it is. They make the effort to personally get to know their regulars and go above and beyond. As former students of Loughborough and now locals to the town this is unquestionably our favourite place to go and Dave always makes a big fuss over us when we enter!

We used this pub as a social and it was perfect, we hired out half the pub and then had an open bar. Was absolutely no issue and the staff were lovely. If you want a pub for a social, the Paget arms is your place

Amazing pub, lovely staff they couldn’t be more welcoming! The pub owner Dave is very dedicated to having a friendly and happy atmosphere that makes you feel safe. Couldn’t recommend This pub more! There’s also a dog (Clyde) who is super friendly but if you don’t like dogs then they will put him away with no hesitation. Best pub in Loughborough by a mile!????

Absolutely disgusted by your customer service, if you could even call it that. I witnessed threatening and uncalled behaviour towards young gentleman, offering to fight them.

Please whatever you do, no not go to this pub! Unless you want a fight with the owner of course…

Sadly I have to give a one star. It wouldn't let me give a zero. Been there twice before and enjoyed my time there until tonight. Came in with my partner and before we could order the Landlord said he wasn't serving us. We asked why? The reply was that we allegedly used his name in vain ( last night) in the local Chinese to ask for discount. That didn't happen. We were not allowed to defend ourselves. I don't even know his name. Calls himself a landlord? Bad customer service. Wouldn't go back there if it was the last pub in Loughborough. Shame.????
