Just enjoyed a delicious pizza, served on a slate board... Such a good idea! Pizza tasted amazing!! Pulled pork, cherry tomatoes and crispy onions! Yum. The hosts were friendly and attentive! Took some cake home for later. Will definitely be returning ????
Coffee Hive is relatively new in terms of coffee shop scene in Peterborough but they are quickly becoming a favourite of many - and for a good reason!
The place itself is relatively small but offers seating inside and out. They sell a lot of items by local artists like plant hangers and hand-made cards. The whole shop is very much “green” and sustainability driven which is amazing to see in Peterborough.
There wasn’t a time when I went where I didn’t feel welcome - the staff are an absolute delight, so friendly and chatty. Nothing’s too much trouble.
Coffee offering is quite standard in comparison to other coffee shops in the area however worth noting that they do use freshly roasted beans from a small roastery which you can also buy when you visit. The coffee is well extracted, latte art is on point and there’s always a good selection of cakes to have as well.
This is definitely one of my go-to’s in Peterborough and I would absolutely recommend visiting.
The Coffee Hive is very cute and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Honestly, the croissant and the americano coffee were very tasty! Recommended!
Proper Italian cappuccino.
Since I moved here I struggled quite a lot finding a place where to enjoy a good cappuccino. I am very pleased to have found such as nice place. For a native italian like me this is to be considered a little gem.
Plus the place is tiny and cozy.
A hidden gem that must be discovered by all. Amazing coffee not to mention the selection of cakes. Staff were friendly an efficient. I will definitely visit more frequently
