Traversed the Chesapeake Bay and found this gem of a place with the friendliest staff and best crab cake and onion rings. Nothing compared to what was on or around the Bay. George and Teresa are exemplary at their job!

Always love visiting the clubhouse. It's a great local stop where you need to allow yourself to disconnect from the rat race and just chill out for a bit.
When a restaurant makes a mistake it’s usually not a big deal. But when you go to a restaurant for a while and notice that about 1/2 of the time their is a mistake it is frustrating. But to be told that because we complained about mistakes to much, that we will no longer be given any form of discount or compensation for mistakes, is rude. Additionally to have this said in front of all the patrons is very rude. The fact that a manager did this is worse. If things were made to the standard of the order this wouldn’t be an issue at all. Maybe instead of working so hard at damage control the manager should focus on putting out quality food and service.
Breakfast buffet was good. We were the only customers for awhile. Biscuits and gravy were great! Will definitely be back! The only downside was that although the staff were very friendly they were also very young and it showed. When they stand around chatting and laughing in the dining room they don't seem very serious which makes me feel like they don't take the food they are preparing seriously and that bothers me. I think the joking around should be kept in the back where customers can't see you.
Food was very good. My friend though was disappointed that there was not a Sauvignon blanc wine available. Apparently, it is no longer being offered. My friend, who lives in Aquia, said that was too bad because she would have been a steady customer if they had that type of wine.
