Best PlaceJuice Reviews

The old school night was fantastic. Line dancing and ballroom dancing was amazing. The bartenders made the perfect cocktail. Their service was superb. This was a nice laid back adult vibe.
Great service, great decor, great drinks and great fried tomatoes. Don't try the mac n cheese.
Wanted the experience to be good but it was not. The service was extremely slow and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. When our server finally came over to get our drinks, it took forever for her to come back with the drinks. Then it took forever for her to come back and take our order. After Taking our order, it took over an hour for the food to come out. Shrimp and grits was good. Then not too long after we get our food, someone that we suspect was the manager, tells us that they have a private party coming in and we have to leave the seats where we were. We were told that there was no rush, but we could move to other seats on the other side of the restaurant. And we were told that they are under new management. What did the previous management look like? Not a good experience.
The service here is extremely slow and disorganized. The food is sub par at best. The bartender was our waitress so she was not attentive or organized. It took her 30 minutes to bring our bill. We just paid it, although she overcharged us. Our service was very slow and all of our food was not received at the same time. Once my burger arrived after everyone else's food, it was undercooked. The only thing that was tasty at our table were the fries, ribs, sweet potatoes and chicken wings. 5 different menu items were unavailable. The atmosphere was dreary. This was once a cool spot, Not anymore! Our experience was disappointing and we will not return.
It's a night club very small place for a big crowd. The drinks were very spot on. But it's a very tight spot.
My husband and I decided to try something new for my birthday dinner. I looked up the menu on their website, and that was enough for us to take the chance. I cannot wait to go back! everything we ate was delicious. It's rare that we go out to eat and don't bring leftovers home, but we ate every bite and drank every drop.
The food is Cajun Creole - we had the crab cake appetizer, with shrimp and grits, fried catfish, fried green tomatoes, collards, and french fries as our entrees and sides. Seriously delicious. We also ordered two of their fancy cocktails...sweet and strong!
It was a quiet Thursday evening, so there were only a few seated tables. It's a safe guess that this place is packed on nights with live music. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Taste. Friendly service, food came quickly, and every bite was tasty! We've been telling friends and co-workers to give this place a try, and we will certainly be back!
Some friends and I drove and hour to eat at the Taste and we were not disappointed. I had the collard greens egg roll. All I can say is OMG!!! The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was great. This night they had a DJ but some nights they have live music. If you are ever in Dayton stop by the Taste.
The atmosphere is great but the prices are way too high for the area. I got there one night after the kitchen had closed and ordered a shot of Patron which cost me 9 bucks! It's a very high end space with a dance floor and full bar which seems great for events but as of this moment it's more of special occasion restaurant than one that I would make a regular visit of.

Quick Facts About Taste

Taste Place is a restaurant and night club that appears to have both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Some strengths of the establishment include its fantastic old school night with line dancing and ballroom dancing, the amazing cocktails made by the bartenders, and the superb service experienced by some customers. Additionally, the great decor and laid back adult vibe of the place were appreciated by patrons.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses mentioned by customers. One common complaint is the extremely slow and disorganized service. Customers mentioned long wait times for their drinks and food, as well as delays in receiving the bill. This slow service was experienced even when the restaurant was not crowded, indicating that it may be a consistent issue. The fact that the bartender also served as the waitress suggests a lack of attentiveness and organization.
Another weakness mentioned is the subpar quality of the food. While some dishes such as the shrimp and grits, fries, ribs, sweet potatoes, and chicken wings were praised as tasty, there were complaints about undercooked burgers, unavailable menu items, and overall disappointment with the food. One customer specifically mentioned that the only good thing about their meal was the fries, ribs, sweet potatoes, and chicken wings.
The size of the establishment seems to be a drawback as well. It was described as a small place for a big crowd, indicating that it may become crowded and uncomfortable during peak hours or when live music is offered. This can affect the overall experience and enjoyment of customers who prefer a more spacious and comfortable setting.
The prices at Taste Place were also seen as a weakness by some customers. The prices were considered too high for the area, with one customer mentioning that even a shot of Patron cost $9. This suggests that the restaurant may be catering more towards special occasions rather than being a regular dining spot for the community.
Despite the downsides, there were positive experiences shared by some customers. They praised the delicious food, friendly service, and quick delivery of orders. These customers expressed their intention to recommend the place to others and to return themselves.
In conclusion, Taste Place has both strengths and weaknesses. The strengths include fantastic old school nights, amazing cocktails, great decor, and a laid back adult vibe. However, weaknesses such as slow and disorganized service, subpar food quality, crowded space, and high prices were mentioned by customers. It is important for the establishment to address these weaknesses in order to improve the overall customer experience and attract repeat business.
