Scheduled an appt. At 2:15 on a Friday and no one was there the whole shop was closed. Very upsetting as I am need of a haircut and was looking forward to getting one.
Even though the stylist was very friendly and personable, I'm not quite sure what happened. I went in to get a deep red and ended up with a bronzy orange then went back and somehow it turned to a mermaid pink. Within 3 washing it was back to blonde with a hint of pastel pink. Not sure if it was expired product or the filler added without washing out between bleaching and coloring. I spent $250 (including a $50 tip) between the two visits and I did not get what I asked for. Though yes I was happy momentarily but for the price I paid to get a professional look not a whimsical look........I'm not happy to say the least. I'll also post a picture of the reference look the outcome of both visits and how my hair looks now that I spent an additional $30+ for artic fox home dye. And let those speak for themselves. Also even with home dye I still didnt get it quite the way I wanted it but still have plenty of product to fix in the future. Also with how much bleach and dye was used the first time and second time my hair was severely damaged and I had to get a deep conditioning treatment just to get my hair so I could put my fingers through it.
I've been in town for a couple of months now and I've been to superior cuts twice. Both times I've had great friendly service from both stylists that cut my hair. I will definitely continue going here as long as I have hair on my head ????. Thank you!

If you have curly hair and you’re tired of having your hair butchered, make an appointment with Carl. In 31 years he is one of only 2 people who have cut my hair properly. My curls look perfect. He’s also GREAT with kids! He somehow manages to cut my daughter’s hair perfectly while she’s squirming and moving her head around.
Carl is great- he keeps us coming back! Janet is great too! They have Sojourn protect which means they support local and that’s awesome. It’s nice having a salon I can take my family to on short notice.
Called and made a appointment Friday night for Monday at 5:15. Showed up early at 5 and all the lights where off. I sat in my car till 5:15 and then I called, no one picked up and went to voicemail 4 times. Sat there for an additional 30 minutes and no one showed up. Could have called or put a sign up on the door to explain why no one was there.
I’ll be honest, when I realized that a large man who looked about my dad’s age would be my stylist, I was nervous. But my hair needed serious help, so I went with it. Turns out, he knows his stuff!! He made sure the haircut turned out exactly how I wanted it. He had great suggestions that transformed it from a thick, Hermione Granger mess to a sleek vintage bob. Thank you Carl! I’ll be back again.
