A good chippy, service was slightly slow and we had to wait around a good few minutes to be asked what we'd like to order. It wasn't particularly busy, with three other customers in the shop. The chips and fish were of food quality.

I was told this is one of the best chippy's in Bromsgrove and at first glance it did look good, good size portions and cheap prices.

All that changed after a hour after I finished eating. Now I consider myself to have a cast iron stomach, I've eaten things in the past to be a week out of date before and be fine, but this chippy gave me food poisoning, where I was up very 3 hours throwing up, not even being able to hold down the water I was sipping on.

Having been a regular here when I lived in Bromsgrove and it was known as Darrs it was an awesome chippy for service and food.

THOSE DAYS ARE CLEARLY LONG GONE...AWFUL SERVICE

However, nowadays I am used to my cod being cooked fresh on order. Well I walked in asked for cod and was told no wr just have these left, chicken sausage and something else.

Shocking attitude shocking service and I thought the idea of a business is to serve customers well and make a profit.

Not here they were just awful.

Worst service i can recall having anywhere in a long long time.

Well as was really hungry but took my custom elsewhere.

Will never return so cannot comment on the food.

But with good service you continue to build a business....

Visiting nearby hotel so popped past to get tea here . Wow the battered chips are amazing...and the mixed meat tray was awesome. Portions huge and prices great. Great meal deals and loads of choice

We ordered 11 meals for delivery and it was delivered within half an hour , with nothing missing and food was great and piping hot! .

Our local chippy, great standard of food, wouldn't consider any others in the area

Clean food counters .. not too long to queue when busy.. specializes in double cooked chips.. extra crispy .. no dedicated parking really... People use the pub car park .. but it is a pokey entrance .. park on Worcester road but chips can get cold if you can't park close? ..
