Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Wir hatten Afternoon Tea für 30 £ pro Person ,leider war alles schlechte Supermarktware und nichts wie beschrieben selbst gebacken!!!!
Für diesen Preis unmöglich.
Unfortunately disappointing.
Had booked a good month or so in advance to go for afternoon tea for my birthday and specified I’d like a Vegan option.
This they said was fine and I had been before and it was great.
Ordered no problem but when it came out was told that they had no vegan scone. Had no choice but to just deal with this news although in my opinion this is not an afternoon tea. Everything was okay but when you pay £21 for an afternoon tea with no cream tea it makes you question the price a bit more! They did say we’ve given you an extra cake however it was just half of another cake that was there.
Overall it was extremely disappointing and the staff all seemed a little off like not sure what they were doing there.
Not a good birthday treat
The restaurant is lovely, quirky decor and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the food was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed our night here. Extensive range of cocktails, and you can taste the alcohol in them. (I've been to a few places where it just tastes like really sweet juice)
Only downside... the place was difficult to find, and resulted in us wandering around for 10 minutes and finding someone for directions, so 'O**fellows' is where you want to go, I get its 'The Secret Garden' but maybe a clue would have been handy. Good location otherwise in city centre.
We didn't stay over so can't really comment on the rooms (have given 5 stars anyway)
Booked afternoon tea here with my mum during the pandemic and due to commitments was unable to go until now. Natalie was very understanding and accommodating, we are now booked in to go in a few weeks. Really easy booking process and quick responses to my emails. Looking forward to my visit.
Fantastic place and such pretty surroundings. The garden, outside seating is beautiful. I booked a table and planned a marriage proposal. The staff communicated through email to arrange what I needed before hand and it all went to plan. Thank you to the young lad who I asked to bring the ring to table along with some champagne and our favourite drink, baby Guinness's. All the staff were fantastic and applauded after I'd asked the question, she said yes. Amazing night, amazing place and even better staff. Well done guys, keep up the hard work and we plan to be back for another trip soon. Maybe even a wedding booking.
I went for the traditional cream tea with my son and parents after seeing an offer on Groupon and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was friendly and welcoming with a great selection of sandwiches and cakes and delicious scones. We will definitely consider eating here again after having such a positive experience.
The night porter is fantastic, the most helpful and friendly member of staff. Thank you, we much appreciate you for our stay.
Our room was too hot with no way of cooling it down despite reception help, sheets and floors were not particularly clean, toilet and shower position not great especially with no ventilation. Only reason I would stay again is if the night porter were here , best customer service, went above and beyond to help each time we asked in the night time. Incredibly responsive. Thank you night porter, made our stay. Also cleaning maids in the morning were great, very kind and helpuf, thank you both.
We went out of season so it was dead, but the food was unbelievable! Very good value as comparable in price with very run of the mill alternatives around Chester, but the quality and flavour were really leagues above anything else we had during our trip. Would definitely eat there again!

Quick Facts About Oddfellows

Oddfellows Place is a unique establishment with a mix of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. This analysis will evaluate these aspects and provide a comprehensive understanding of the overall customer experience.
Starting with the strengths, many comments highlighted the attractive and quirky decor of the restaurant. The pleasant and relaxed atmosphere added to the overall ambiance, making it an enjoyable place to dine. Furthermore, the staff consistently received positive feedback for their friendliness and exceptional service. Customers appreciated the accommodating and understanding approach, particularly in situations such as booking changes during the pandemic. The night porter, in particular, was praised for going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.
In terms of the food, some customers had a positive experience with the afternoon tea and cream tea options. They specifically mentioned the delicious scones, sandwiches, and cakes. It is worth noting that the quality and flavor of the food were deemed excellent, providing good value for the price compared to other options in the area. Additionally, the extensive range of cocktails received positive feedback. Customers appreciated that the cocktails had a noticeable alcohol content rather than being overly sweet.
Moving on to the weaknesses, it is evident that there were several issues that impacted the overall customer experience. One recurring complaint was the lack of adherence to dietary preferences. A customer who had booked a Vegan option for afternoon tea was informed upon arrival that there was no vegan scone available. This lack of communication and failure to cater to specific dietary needs was disappointing and inconsistent with the expectations set by the restaurant.
Another significant weakness was the difficulty in finding the restaurant. Several customers mentioned that they had trouble locating the establishment, resulting in unnecessary frustration and wasted time. While the quirky nature of the establishment being a "secret garden" was an appealing aspect, it seems that clearer directions or hints would have been helpful for customers.
In terms of accommodation, there were mixed reviews. While one customer praised the night porter and cleaning maids for their outstanding service and friendliness, others expressed concerns about room conditions. These concerns included rooms being too hot with no way to cool them down, cleanliness issues with sheets and floors, and inconvenient toilet and shower positions without proper ventilation.
Overall, Oddfellows Place has a unique and attractive ambiance with friendly staff and exceptional food quality, particularly in relation to cocktails. However, there are notable weaknesses such as issues with catering to specific dietary preferences, difficulties in finding the location, and inconsistencies in accommodation quality. These weaknesses should be addressed to ensure a more consistent and satisfactory customer experience.
