This salon is underrated. Firstly, the quality: I go in, let them know what I want and they have NEVER disappointed. My nails are always beautiful and durable. I hate when I get my acrylics done elsewhere and they break or chip in a week or less. That is never the case here.
Secondly, the price: I am originally from Wisconsin and moved here about two years ago. Prices across the board in Wisconsin are much cheaper but Gold Star Nails can definitely compete and is by far more reasonably priced than any nearby competitor. I’ve gone to other salons in the area and paid literally twice as much for half the quality.
Lastly, the service: the staff goes above and beyond. They are so kind and friendly from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. They take their time on your services and ensure you are satisfied.
Definitely recommend. I will not be spending my money anywhere and you will not be disappointed!!
Star Nails is my go-to nail salon! Janny does such a wonderful job taking care of my nails. When I first started going, I had weak and short nails. After multiple trips, my nails are stronger than they’ve ever been! I usually get the dip for my nails and a traditional pedicure. It is reasonably priced and good quality. Everyone at Star Nails does a wonderful job.
Good- First time, same day appt, nails looked beautiful initially.
Bad- Went with the dip because it was supposed to last longer, chipped within 3 days. Completely ruined within a week.
The tech filed my nails down too much so now they're thin and chipped, will take me 3 months to recover.
Refused to give me $15 change from cash.
I really wanted to like this place. Would not recommend.

HAD MY NAILS DONE THURSDAY FOR A WEDDING ON SATURDAY. THE "NO CHIP" SERVICE I GOT IS UNACCEPTABLE.
IVE NEVER HAD MY NAILS CHIP WITHIN 2 DAYS OF HAVING THEM!!!
SUPER ANNOYED. NICE PEOPLE. BUT I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. I WAS OUT OF STATE SO I COULDNT GET THEM FIXED BEFORE THE CEREMONY.

I ruined my poly gel nails that I did myself and I was traveling out of state. Found this nice place by my hotel. They were really kind and helped me redo them into simple, gel nails. 10/10 experience. Affordable pricing.
Accommodating to what was needed done. Friendly and helpful. Was suggested to do a dip powder for my natural nails which I will be doing now, instead of doing a gel overlay. The only thing was that there’s no sign stating no kids allowed unless being serviced. There was one running around but the technicians were being patient. All in all it’s a nice establishment.
This nail salon is beyond my favorite place to get my full set acrylic mani’s and my pedi’s!! I’ve been consistently impressed by the staff for the past ten years. Not only are they friendly, but they provide the highest quality services to their clients. Janny, Lynn, Judy, and John are wonderful, kind, and detail oriented. They keep up with the trends and can create chic designs that will impress anyone who sees them.
