COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Okay they get two stars because the people who work here are super friendly. But if you shop here you NEED to check expiration dates. This chocolate is up at the register and is almost 3 years expired..... After pointing it out to manager, cashier and owner who happened to all be at the register when I saw it, the owner brushed it off. He claimed they received the product from the vendor already expired and the vendor won't refund them. It's probably just them not telling the vendor or forgetting. His next response was to say "that's why they are on sale for BOGO".....
There is no sign anywhere near this box of expired bars indicating that A. The product is EXPIRED BY OVER 2 YEARS or B. The "sale" of said chocolate. So they are setting customers up to unintentionally pay full price for an expired item that has been discontinued. (Two days later it's still up there with no signs or anything)
Also, while they have almost all your grocery needs, be prepared to pay outrageous prices.
So, CHECK THE DATES ON EVERYTHING
And be prepared to spend a lot of money.
They don't have a really big selection of many things it's pretty hard to have a market like that in Black canyon City. It is very expensive, but these are items that you need because you didn't get them at other places obviously. They do have produce, cleaning supplies, cute and cereals and Gary as well as sour cream Mexican foods Jarred foods etc.
Have a great selection of ice cream that's for sure! All of the employees are extremely fine very personable they're all over and very cool there is also a Coca-Cola machine out front and it takes $1 per soda but it works.
Well lets just say its extremely high the and the owner picks and chooses who he likes from our town and doesent hesitate to kick you out forever !! Bit much but ive watched him rudely mess with two Customers !and they were being loud but he just snaps! But got to keep it deal people because its our only store and he already get the best of us!!
Expired dates constantly every time I go in, I’d rather waste the gas money I’d end up spending here with the prices to go to anthem and get the stuff I need instead. Staff is nice though
Very down home market, love the people that worked there very polite and helpful when I couldn't find something. Definitely a great place to go.
Ya boo Ron's is a really good small town grocer, boss man keeps it clean and well stocked
This bathroom was the most disgusting bathroom that we actually refused to use it. Black canyon city had no bathrooms in the town and is a terrible place.
We needed to find a place to stop while traveling after dark to get food and drink, and took the Black Canyon City exit. Ron's Market was a hospitable and well-stocked place to find just what we needed. After making a purchase it occurred to me that when my car broke down in 1991 that I had stopped in the very same store for help. What a great place, double thanks for being there twice.
