Unbelievable!! Amazing food!! Best Sandwich I had in my life ! My partner had the steak that was amazing too! We also tried their milkshakes with homemade ice cream...needless to say they were incredible too! Staff smiley and friendly! Will be going to Ulverston just for Poppies alone !
We attended one of Poppies evening nights in June and it was Devine. The food was presented beautifully and both dishes tasted amazing. The sharing complimentary nibble starter went down a treat (not pictured) and the service was perfect! Very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to returning to try another monthly menu.
Fantastic vegan pie had at Poppies cafe. Well tasty! Staff are lovely and welcoming. And the tattoo style art work thats for sale on the walls is brilliant.
THAT was AMAZING! I'm a visitor to this lovely town and came across this jem yesterday evening (Saturday). The quality and skill involved (in what I suspect will be every meal here), was nothing short of sublime! You will not get better value for your money. And on top of this, the staff are lovely, friendly people which made this a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Massive thumbs up guys and I wish you all the best for the future!
Lovely cafe with tasty food. Staff were really kind to my little girl bringing her toddler cutlery with her chocolate brownie.
There were 10 of us last Friday. Excellent evening. Food was superb. Lovely touch of a complimentary nibbles board, all home made, while food was prepared. Service was spot on. It is a small place and has big chunky tables n chairs. Well worth a revisit
First time and we Will definitely be back again, I had the club sandwich, salad and fries and my wife had the jacket with tuna salad. 10/10 for taste and presentation and last but not least customer service. ???? ????
Last minute dash to Ulverston,and lucky to get Lunch for 3 of us in Poppies,We have tried before,but we could not get in. Huge success,great cuisine and charming staff.
