We have been going to Ed since he first became a barber, he is the best barber in Plant City and in the surrounding areas he is worth the drive from mulberry to Dade City. He is very meticulous when it comes to fades and pays attention to what the customer requests, my boys always leave happy!
I enjoy going to Massey's because it is a warm, friendly atmosphere. No matter which Barber you choose, you will receive a quality haircut. I give them five stars.
I've gone to this barber many times over the years and always had a good experience, but after the way I was treated today I will never be back. I went in with my brother and my kids. We were the only ones in the store. All my family members got their hair cut, but when it was my turn they kept skipping me in favor of other customers that had just walked in.
After the 3rd time we finally said something, and the old man referred to the owner and said "You'd be better off having him do your hair." The owner replied "I'll cut yours after her" referring to a women who came in 20 minutes after me. I replied, "No, you won't. I'm taking my business elsewhere." I also think they overcharged me. They charged $20 for each of my kids haircuts, while my brother was only charged $14 as an adult. The sign said haircuts are $18, so who knows. I think he charged extra because he realized I was no longer going to tip him after that horrible service.
I have no explanation for why I was treated with such disrespect, but they just lost 4 customers for life and earned a 1 star review.
I've been a customer here for five years and I can't believe the way they just treated my brother. After sitting there for over an hour the two guys there kept skipping him. Once we realized he was doing it intentionally after three people cut ahead we spoke up to which the older guy says "Oh...you're better off getting a cut from him" pointing to the owner.
What? You can't handle a simple trim now?
When the owner finally had an opening he told my brother "Nah, I'm gonna get her first..." referring to a woman that had just walked in. They flat out REFUSED to cut his hair! If this how the new owner is doing business they won't be there for long. I certainly won't be back.
Also, what's up with the prices? The last few times I went there it's a random price. I paid 14$ this time, 15$ last time, but the sign says 18$.
My barber was Nate. Did a fabulous job courteous friendly. I'm a woman with short hair he took his time and showed me the results. Very impressed with the professionalism!
Staff was friendly and professional. I even thanked them and gave a tip they were so nice. However I was not happy with my cut. It should have been a flat top but it was not.
This place seems to focus on speed and being inexpensive, great for kids and elderly.
