MY MEDIUM SIZED BOX BRAIDS WERE DONE IN 3 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES!!! These ladies are unbelievable! They were polite and respectful and not heavy handed at all. There was no tight pulling or any kind of pain. I highly recommend them! Thanks ladies!
The sisters at Martha’s African Hair Braiding salon are heaven sent! They are so sweet and professional; I love how they are transparent with you in terms of styles that are best for you and your hair type. Martha is very knowledgeable and provides great instructions on how to maintain your style. They are always so pleasant! I received small knotless braids and I am in love; not to mention they don’t have strict booking rules and regulations like most hair stylists now! I love the “old fashioned” way of calling, making an appointment and the stylist and customer are there on time!! They work together so you’re not sitting in the chair for countless hours! I also get my wig braid downs from Martha’s! Needless to say, I’m a regular and am very happy with their services!
Such an awesome experience. This was my first time using Martha’s. The service was fast. They were able to do small box braids in very little time. I received small box braids. Once they started with my hair, they were finished in not more than 3 hours. The braids are very neatly done. I was concerned because I have breakage in the front of my hair due to my own error. I was told by other braiders that the broken part could not be caught for braiding. I informed them and they said no problem… and asked if I’d like them to braid the spot if they could catch it. Well.. they caught it! No problem at all. When I’ve gone to previous braiders in the past, my head would be tight or sore… not this time! No tightness or soreness with Martha’s! The overall experience was great. The braiders were happy and pleasant. The atmosphere was peaceful and respectful… which made my experience a pleasant one. I will definitely be going back . They are now my #1 choice for braids.

I love my hair! I’ve never seen silky braiding hair that left such a natural look! My braids look so gorgeous, soft, and barely tangled. I can’t wait to do more... such a great place with the kindest ladies ever.
I have a very short hair , but Martha grabed it very nice and neat.
I love the clean environment in that shop. It’s so tidy . They are very fast , my long box braids took only 2 hours and 30 min, I can’t ask for more.

If I can leave 10 stars I would! The owners came by to introduce themselves to us when we opened up our "Purple Event Center" and I decided to book with them not once but twice so far. Very friendly, affordable and quick! This style took me 5 hours to complete. I've never gotten this style before in such short length of a time and it's neatly done. I'll be only booking with them from now on! Awesome job.
Wonderful service and quick. Finished in 2 hours They don't engage in a lot of talking, and they have you finished in a timely manner. I have taking my kids and grandkids, and they love the way that they handle their hair, because two of them are tender headed.
