This place has fantastic food. The prices are good and the beers are cheap! I ordered two draught beers for $1 each. Two and a half pounds of steamed shrimp was $20. Can't beat it. The seating inside is a bit sketchy, and the table we had was covered in flies, so we had to sit somewhere else. The clam chowder was fantastic and you can also get it in a bread bowl. I really liked this place. Everyone is friendly and the food comes out quickly. A definite gem! Not the type of place that is super high class, that for sure. If you want one of those restaurants, go somewhere else. But for good food and excellent value for your dollar, you can't beat The Freezer!

Steamed shrimp best around. The clam chowder bread bowl was delicious. The lid of the bread bowl was bathed in garlic butter.????

They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating. If you choose to sit outside, you will have to place your order first. Sitting inside a server will take the order.

Best local place for fresh seafood and cold drinks. The peel and eat shrimp was cooked perfectly and I loved the mussels! You order from the bar and then find a seat so it’s all about timing when you come here to eat.

They have the best steamed we have ever had, and I am a shrimp person!! It is a hole in the wall type atmosphere but that's what I like. Walk in find a seat and order at the bar. Cash only but they do have an ATM.

Their shrimps and wings on Sundays are the bomb. They have good food. I just wish they would try harder to figure out a way to accommodate more clients and make the ambiance a bit more enjoyable. There is always a super long line to order. Someone needs to stay on the line while someone else on the party needs to circle like hawks around other guests to score a table. That part stresses me out. Then when you get a table you feel the same: rushed by other clients wanting for your seat. I think having a host and servers take orders at the table, at least on weekends, would help.

Food & a View! But the best part is that this was the FRESHEST shrimp I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was crowded, but the turn over was quick. Don't be turned off by the line. They are a well-oiled machine, and you won't be waiting long. Even if you were, what a better place to spend your time!

Skeptical at first because of mixed reviews but definitely worth trying. Will be putting this on my go to restaurants. Loved the peel & eat shrimp and reasonably priced. Another place down the road, you would get half the amount for the same price.
