I recently moved back to Essex and have been searching for the best places to eat, and I can honestly say that the London road is one of the best !
Food is always top notch cooked fresh and staff are spot on.
You won’t find a better cafe, no wonder it gets busy

Lovely caf at a good location. It was busy lunchtime, full of regular customers.
The food was decent, service was good, price excellent and the young staff great. But the female owner was extremely rude, and we still don’t know why. It spoiled an otherwise great breakfast. Would never go back.
Called in midweek for a late lunch. Had a smashing jacket potato with chilli and cheese.
Now I know that’s not a lot to write home about but it really was tasty.

This place is a little gem to visit ...whether you sit in or outside it's comfortable ...food is excellent & a good menu to choose from ... staff are friendly & accommodating ... prices very reasonable ... this is a must place to visit ... thank you ...
Nice experience. Food was served fresh and hot. My only little moan is that it was very cold inside the cafe difficult to enjoy your food.

Wonderfully polite and generous owners. Same folks since establishment some years back. Can feel like walking into a burly gym full of meat heads at some times but I assure you these are wonderfly polite meat heads so do not fret otherwise you miss out on Large portions, great prices and great all round food from fryups to Sunday roasts. Small place so can get cost if you select such times, anything wrong then speak up and they will sort. Miss this place since moving away but still visit every so often given the attitude of the place and quality of food leaving you feel more than satisfied when leaving, if not then you must be a hard to please lefty. ????
