I dropped in after seeing their window sign. This is an old school barbershop. I got in to a chair very quickly. After I told my barber what I wanted, I settled back for a comfortable experience. He cut my hair just the way I wanted it, never jabbed me as some have in other places. He engaged in conversation and found common ground. The price was fair. This is a top notch business that understands it is the customer who pays the bills and needs to be treated right and they do a great job of treating the customer right.
I was in Covington with my wife to do vampire diaries tour and was in need of haircut . I had sit down to get my haircut and didn't realize they only accepted cash. Lynn told me to just come back with cash that I needed to make sure that we made it to our tour. You just don't come by great people like Lynn anymore. I brought her the money after our tour and thanked her. Thanks for the amazing haircut and for trusting a total stranger. You really made my day
Old school barbers who are great with all clients, great with children as well. I hope this one stays around for a very long time as they are keeping the traditional barber shop style alive.
I called to see about making an appointment for my son. The lady who answered was very rude and put me on hold, where I heard her making comments about me to someone else. I'm not sure if she misunderstood what what I said or what...but she was making comments like, "you can take this call because she's not going to like what I have to say to her....give her to Derrick instead..." literally all I asked was: "Hi do you have any appointments opens for toddler haircut today?"
Lynn took over the conversation and apologized and was very nice and accommodating, after I kinda asked what the problem was....but the woman answering the phone left a bad taste in my mouth.
Wouldn’t recommend these a**holes to anyone. False advertising, stating they close at 6pm. Beware, when you walk in at 5:30, they’ll tell you they’re closed and that you need to leave. Extremely rude and unprofessional, especially dark headed old man at the back. Plenty of other options. AVOID THIS PLACE!
My first time in. I don’t have cash and they don’t take cards — Lynn said to come back later and not to worry about it
Love this place! It’s walk-ins only and there is usually a wait because of its popularity and established clients. Lynn is extremely helpful! My fiancé got the worst haircut in the world somewhere else and she was able to work her magic and fix it up!
Lynn does a wonderful job! Love the straight razor.
