Recently moved to NY from FL and was looking for a new barber. Was recommended by a friend to go to Logan to get a great haircut/fade.
I asked for a low skin fade that blends into the top (not disconnected), but he proceeded to give me a disconnected undercut instead. He did not communicate at all during the haircut or even ask questions.
I have curly hair that I take care of. This means no heat (without heat protectant) and dry cuts. It's clear he doesn't know the correct way to cut curly hair since he wet my hair before cutting and used high heat directly on my hair. I didn't ask before hand if he knew how to cut curly hair, but I'd expect a barber to inform me if they don't know how to cut my hair.
It's possible I'm just used to barbers talking to me and clarifying things during the haircut. If you go here, make sure to over-communicate what you want
I’ve been coming year for years and Sam (the owner) barely gives me the time of day. He used to be very welcoming and accommodating when he first opened his shop. I guess since he solidified his business he realized he didn’t need to be nice anymore. Most of the haircuts I’ve got recently felt very rushed from multiple barbers.
I’ve been coming to K&S for 4 years. Always have amazing experiences and results. I moved to NJ a few years ago, but I still come to K&S for haircuts. Logan always does a great job. Easy to make appointments and everyone is so nice.

The only barber I’ve been to here is Peter. He does an amazing job! The shop looks good and clearly is doing well given how many customers they have. 4 stars because it’s pretty pricey, especially if you’re doing your beard as well
Great atmosphere! Husband and wife owners are always friendly and welcoming. Keeps you informed on wait time and keeps you comfortable and entertained with magazines and tv. Haircut itself is always on point with clean lines and professional look. They will do whatever you want and you’ll walk out feeling great. Excellent neighborhood barbershop for anyone looking for a great cut.
Sam and Kristina are very friendly and the best around! I have been going there for 6 years and recently moved further away. I went to a couple barbershops closer to home and had to go right back to K&S because nothing compares to their haircuts! Highly recommend will do anything they can to accommodate you!
I’m very particular about getting haircuts in random places. I’ve been going to the same barber for 5 years but due to Corona Virus his shop is close in Manhattan. I walked in here and Logan was amazing. He knew how to deal with my hair and listened to my requests which no many barbers do. I’ll be coming to him from now on! Also the place is super clean and the staff members are very professional.
