New owner now...not the same anymore. Asked for high fade and got no fade just straight buzzed sides into the top where I said leave it long only trim a little and the guy cut off atleast an inch. Time to find new barber.
NEW OWNERSHIP FOR - NOT AS GOOD ANYMORE
I had to edit my review. The place is under new ownership. They took down everything, don't run the AC or the fans. They don't even talk to you anymore. I would recommend going somewhere else. I asked for a trim, IE 1/4 of an inch, and the guy basically cut it all off and didn't understand why I wasn't happy about it. They put product in my hair without asking and whatever it was stung my scalp. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed.
This place quite literally looks like a hole in the wall now.
Simple regular men’s haircut. I share Adam’s comments on the shop under new ownership. Kris was THE BEST and so friendly, personable and talkative!!! It was a pleasure going there. NOT anymore. All the old memorabilia, etc was a great pleasure to look at. EVERYTHING is gone and like Adam said, nobody talks to you anymore. I WILL NOT ever return since Kris is gone.
Not worth the price!!! Chis has been the best for years unfortunately her help is nowhere near the price they are now charging. Took my boys in for a haircut all they did was cut the side and cleaned the front not taking anything off the top like I asked. I was dissatisfied and just wanted to get out didnt say anything because I didnt want to make my kids feel bad about their haircut.
Probably the best barber shop in Escondido, staff is super friendly, even after not having visited for over a month they remembered who I was and how I normally get my hair cut. The atmosphere is amazing, lots of old school metal advertising signs on the walls. New hours are awesome, and the addition of an atm was just icing on the cake. Keep it up guys!!
The place in town for a fresh cut. Kris has been there from day 1 & She is the best. Great atmosphere, relaxing watching sports.
I've been coming to this barber shop for years, and its always been the best price around, without compromising on anything. The owner is very nice, and has tons of old sports memorabilia, and other interesting stuff to look at while getting your hair tidied up. There's always sports on t.v which is refreshing, since I don't watch much at home; like great escape...(If only for half an hour). Just don't go Saturday, because they're always slammed! Weekdays, evenings, and Sundays are the safest bet.
