So, before I get into the review, I’m going to clear something up I was confused about. When googling for Perfect 10 Salon, this place came up, with the old reviews from Perfect 10, same phone number, etc. but this is not the same business. I was told they purchased the equipment after Perfect 10 went out of business.
I went in last week for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment. The service I received was pretty good, but the experience did not warrant the $45 I paid. They apparently moved locations recently, and due to circumstances they don’t have the funds to renovate quite yet, so the space feels awkward and while it is clean, it feels like a back-door hair cutting operation inside of an abandoned Blockbuster. The hair washing area is a completely unfinished concrete room with rug runners leading to it. There aren’t upright dryers. There is obvious wear and tear on the chairs. The nail station looks small and uncomfortable. Overall, there just isn’t the feeling of relaxation that I want in a salon.
Overall, the experience I had was decent, but honestly the price isn’t justifiable for the experience they are offering clients right now. It feels like they are charging mid-range prices for a budget experience.
The perfect 10 is a nice salon. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The treats and soda were a great perk! I've been in there twice. The first time, I was not pleased with my hair cut. I felt as though the stylist didn't listen to what I wanted. I had written a review on this experience and expressed my dissatisfaction. Within 24 hours the salon owner had contacted me wanting to make it right. I was very impressed by her customer service level and went back in for another cut. But after styling my second cut myself, I still was not pleased with that cut either. I think it came down to the fact that the $10 cut does not include a dry and style. I wasn't able to see what the final product would be. I appreciate all the effort they made to have me be a satisfied client, but I will likely take my business elsewhere.
Every time I come in to get my haircut I am warmly greeted and always have a great experience! The stylists do a great job and try to get to know you on a personal level. Today when I went in they were experiencing some trouble with their electricity but still managed to give me a great haircut! $10 for a cut and a hair wash is a great price!
Very pleased with the haircut and service! The price went up from 10 to 15 but honestly when you consider the price of other salons in the area, and then take into account that it includes a hair wash it really is a fair deal. Alyssa does an amazing job and the cut was really fast! I definitely recommend this place!
Great haircut! My only gripe is the price change they did in July from $10 to $15. Not that it's a big deal, but for $15 I can go lots of other places. $10 haircut was what separated Perfect 10 for other businesses, now it's just another average haircut.
This place is amazing! They always have a spot open for us when we call. They get us in quickly but always professional and make sure we're good with the haircut we get before they finish. There is a play area for toddlers and free snacks too! My kids always feel comfortable there and so do I!
I really like the perfect 10. I always get a quality haircut. I usually go during the off times so of course it's great. The staff is always really helpful and very nice. Can't beat a haircut with the included wash and gel AND soda machine for $10. Great job ladies!
I have had my hair and nails done at The Perfect ten. They did a really great job and accommodated my entire family. I loved that they had treats and drinks when we walked in the door and my kids loved the play room (so did I). They were super nice and I loved the hair cuts that we were all given.
