First time walking in, no appointment. Was ushered to an open chair right away. Great cut and shave by David Torres! They gave me a professional, courteous and a surprisingly quick experience. I will be going back. Thanks David.
One of my favorite barbers. Since the move to the New York location in Deland the service and atmosphere has been amazing. Tony, Rich, Carolína and Ritz are all some of the best barbers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Any of the other barbers I haven’t even worked with yet are incredible. Always try and make an appearance they are constantly busy, because of their excellent reputation locally.
I Facebook messaged them a few weeks prior to going with a picture of my son and his thick, long, curly locks. I explained that he didn't know what he wanted, that we were looking for someone who could help him choose a hairstyle. Was told to ask for a specific person. Went in and asked for that person, to be met with bewildered looks and a "that's just anyone ". They then proceeded to ask what he wanted, and told us to go online to pick something when we said we needed help figuring it out. Explained what we wanted. Didn't get that, but I told my son it looked fine. The barber told him it was an emo style. My sons face dropped, and I quickly assured him it was not and that he looked good. The barber took no cues and insisted it was what emo kids ask for specifically. Went home, and child (who I autistic) had a meltdown. Took a week to get him out of the house. Do not go here unless you know exactly what you want and do not go here with "white people " hair. They also quoted me $20 on Facebook, then charged me $30 in store... and I still had to tip.
I had a great experience. Happened to walk in and sit right down. I guess my timing was perfect for a Sunday morning. Thank you Chris!
The barber said he could do a straight razor shave of my face and head. When I sat down he said “ he could do straight razor shave on my face and do electric shaver on my head” I agreed he ended up doing electric razor on both face and head. It was a bait and switch. I paid for the service using square and left him a review like I am on this sight he reached out via my email only to insult me calling me a Ken and didn’t care what I had to say. What to take away from all this. If you offer a service you should be a man of your word and proceed with the agreed upon service. If you didn’t feel comfortable doing a razor shave then don’t agree to do one. He went on to call me names and insult me said that he didn’t care what kind of reviews I left. I took a screen shot of what he sent me in my email and I will showing Tony the owner as well as posting his response. Highly unprofessional and very self entitled. Update I reached out to Tony the owner via text said that he would get back to me never did. My google review was also blocked because I shared the insulting email from the barber I received service from I deleted the pictures so the review would at least make it to the page
Amazing customer service. After a haircut I always feel 100% more confident and ready to take on the day because I know they have me looking my best.
Ricky was extremely friendly and professional, his attention to detail and skills with a straight edge were on point. I will be back the next time I’m in town!!
