popped in here for lunch after looking at the best-rated places in Kendal and weren't disappointed at all. we ended up cutting the burgers in half and sharing them because we couldn't make a decision. absolutely gorgeous, they were. same with the chips. oh and my coffee was ace and my wife's smoothie was ace...everything was, basically...strongly recommended!
Excellent menu choices and don't forget to check out the specials. The freak shakes hit the spot all excellent bang for buck and kids options were ace. However, the wait for the food was slightly beyond acceptable and it didn't seem too busy at the time which distracted from what was an overall great experience.
We stopped in for a late brunch and it was unreal. Loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious and fresh. Waited quite a while for our drinks but can't really complain as it was busy and rightfully so! I honestly think it was the best hot chocolate I've ever had (and it was vegan!) thank you very much, we will be back ❤️
We had a baked potato with tuna and cheese, chicken schnitzel burger and halloumi fries with an oreo shake. All of which were delicious. The decor is really inviting and the staff are friendly. The wait for the food was a bit long, but worth it.
Best vegan breakfast I've ever eaten. Just lovely all around, like a rainbow on my plate. It was nice eating scrambled tofu, when usually the egg replacement in a vegan breakfast is empty space on a plate.
Portion size for the cost was great, atmosphere chill and service lovely!
Hands down the best breakfast I've had in a long time!
We came here with our dog as the other was at the vets for scans and needed to be near by. Loki was very welcomed by the gentleman working and even had his own puppachino! My husband and I ordered breakfast and it was 100% the best we've had. Very fresh, perfectly cooked bacon and tasty!
We will be back here on our next visit to Kendal ❤️
Called in Kendal on my way home from the lakes and wanted some food. After a walk around trying to find a cafe, I came across the Farmhouse Kitchen. This is a cute little place where the staff are friendly with a good choice of food, cakes and drinks. The smashed avocado with poached eggs was delicious, so was my latte. Next time I'm Kendal I'll be calling in again for some more food. This was a great little find.
