Great food quick service, friendly staff. You don't want to hang around in a café, it's about getting in and having food and drink quickly, IMHO, but they don't rush you out the door, you can chill if you want to. Great Visit, Recommend 100%.

Been coming here once a week as I'm working locally. Best coffee I've had in ages, food is exceptionally good value, place is very clean and the staff are great!

Loved it. Only had a cooked breakfast but it was lively. All the staff are friendly to. I will say they only take cash so make sure you have some when visiting.

Excellent service, very clean, reasonably priced food, great menu, staff are friendly and soon get to know what you want. Jacket potato beans and cheese lol.

Me & partner went here though we would have a breakfast or something we were amazed at the menu they do loads of stuff so we tryed the rost and it was really good definitely would recommend ????

The best proper local independent cafe for miles - excellent breakfasts and builders tea. A+

Update:

As clean and tidy as ever, with just as good traditional British cafe menu, with very fast service.

They have certificates up showing they have a "5" on the food hygiene rating, I can well believe this as the place is always incredibly clean.

These guys know what they are doing, and do it very very well.

For a restaurant who always makes consistently good food, the size of the menu is impressive! For someone with a hands on job like me who is fed up with breakfests, the chicken kebab, rice & salad is a god send (& some impressive macros for any of you health fanatics)

The star cafe is my favorite cafe because the staff are friendly and the cafe is clean and also the food is great.
