We visited here to have a birthday meal with the family and had s really enjoyable experince. The waitress was really friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed even though she appeared rushed off her feet. The food is very nice here and the meal sizes are really good, the steak is cooked perfectly, which i definitely recommend!
DO NOT BOOK A PARTY HERE! Cant cope with a big party! Our food order was given 2 weeks in advance, starters didnt come out until 45mins after we arrived, only 10 people ordered starters and everyone else had to wait 2 HOURS for food! My daughters food came out with the starter meaning she ate a whole hour before the e rest of us! To top it off the steak was cold when it came out! If you havr a larger group of 10dont bother coming here as you will pay £40 for a two hour wait. Cold food and £££ worth of drink whilst ur waiting! They arent daft!
If they cant cope with that big of a party they shouldn't book them
First time went here for Sunday lunch after a walk with family, nice friendly staff, lovely food that came quick, nice big garden at back with a pond, have cabins to rent, definitely go again.
Our small walking group had lunch there today. Really good value for money. Friendly staff, beautifully cooked food. We will be back!

We went to the Clough for lunch today 31/8/22 and it was perfect, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed.The young lady behind the bar was really helpful, we had a really good time. We will definitely be going back soon.
