Price very cheap. But the cheap price does not sacrifice the taste. The shredded beef burrito taste amazing. And it's BIG!
If salsa can be more spicy that would be absolutely perfect!
My friends and I found this Mexican restaurant on Google and decided to give it a try. There was a long ordering line but everyone seemed cheerful and I chatted with a few other patrons while waiting. The cashier was pleasant and briefly asked me how I was doing and about my day during the transaction. The wait time for food felt long as well but when the food was ready, it was piping hot, fresh and large portions! I ordered a chicken chimichanga and a few burritos. I somehow received (and was charged for) two chimichangas which didn't end up being a tragedy because they are enormous and delicious! They were comparable to the largest burrito and packed with shredded chicken. There was some lettuce and cheese in the container as well. Personally, I'd like to see some other ingredients in addition to the shredded chicken but it was surprisingly juicy and flavorful with a nice crisp crust and the hot sauce was great with it too. My friends enjoyed their burritos too. Great place to stop and I'll be by again soon.
I got the most expensive thing I saw on the menu— it was still only $10! The portions are huge, the food smells and tastes great.
Staff were very friendly, prices were very reasonable. This is my new favorite place to get lunch between classes :)
Super juicy meat-only burritos! Don't eat these in your car unless you have a large drop cloth. My friend loves the carne secco. I tried the green chile beef and my friend ended up liking it even more. The meat is so most and juicy that lots of liquid drops out the bottom of the foil wrapping. If you want rice and beans you have to order a plate.
This is a good place for carnivores or people who don't like vegetables. Lunch time can get busy and you'll have to wait a while to get your food. It wasn't that busy when we went but we still had to wait a while for our order.
Right now they're only doing take out. You can't eat inside and their bathroom is closed to customers.
The best food for the money anywhere in town, hands down. The people there have outstanding customer service and are eager to please. Only down-side is: I guess their take home tortillas are to die for, because they're always sold out! Guacamole is second to none, too.
I've been eating here for about 40 some years now I think. Their food is still the best! In the 80's and 90's I worked in the neighborhood and absolutely lived on the beans here. Their breakfast burritos are yummy! Their tortillas are so good! Sold by the dozen, fresh. Same family all these years. Love it.
First and foremost they have the nicest staff!!! They have the best tortillas, beans, rice, and burritos in Tucson. Can’t recommend this place more. They only offer take out since Covid so they are perfect to order for family gatherings at home
