Used to go here few years back and the desserts/ cakes were fantastic, think it then changed hands and it went down hill so stopped going. Recently decided to give it another go and think it must be in new hands again. Very good food, have been back twice since in a week ( once for Sunday Roast) All 3 meals have been very good and would recommend this place again now.
I routinely come here every Sunday with my girlfriend, her father and her brother. Sometimes even more than once a week.
Honestly it’s that treat you look forward too throughout the week!
I would say if you don’t go then your week is not complete.
Food is amazing ???? never had a bad breakfast or roast! I have had many other dishes off their menu and all were top quality.
Compliments to the blue and white team. Very friendly and can always have a laugh with them. Just know if they leave you mid convo it’s to go and serve up your delicious food ????

My favourite cafe in the area! Food is consistently high of quality (especially the bacon and sausages) and well prepared. The staff are very friendly and quick even at busy times. Tables are well cleaned between customers and they take the track and trace very seriously.
Very popular at weekend lunchtimes, so maybe choose a quieter time if you like a bit of extra space around you.
Sept 2021: went in sat down. Table was so sticky, our arms were stuck to it, wiped it over with a baby wipe and it was black with dirt! Food all over the floor. High chair filthy dirty too! Did not stay to eat! Whole place feels grubby and sticky. DO NOT RECOMMEND, GO JUST UP THE ROAD TO THE AIRPORT CAFE.
Was previous 4 star review changed to 1 15/7/19. Gone way downhill under new ownership. Quite grubby inside now. Food was not good. Fried slice was like toast. Eggs overcooked. Asksd for extra beans and didn't get. See photos dirty apron on chopping board in kitchen while girl was chopping onion on it!. Other girl was putting bacon on someone's plate with her fingers with no gloves!
Definitely will not be going back. Do yourself a favour and carry on down a20 a bit further to the airport cafe where food is much nicer and surroundings alot cleaner. Also cheaper.
Always a great breakfast/brunch. I had the Mega Munch. It was delicious. They serve Korker sausages. They are really tasty
The food was excellent but in all honesty the place needs a clean/spruce up. I'd return because the food was so good and that's what's important to me but yeah this is a no thrils kinda place that serves fantastic English Breakfast.
The sausages in this cafe are really good. This place used to be better, wasn't as good this time I visited.
We went here for the first time in many years and was pleasantly surprised to see how much the appearance has changed for the better. The menu is simple home cooked meals and is beautifully presented. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, very clean and tidy. We both tried the liver and bacon which we thoroughly enjoyed. So pleased to have re-found this gem and plan not to leave it so long before returning next time
