Very enjoyable first visit to Zenxi on New Years Day with family, upmarket decor, outstanding service and delicious food.

Quite pricey, but highly recommended for special occasions.

Only issue we had during our 4pm sitting was the noise being generated by a child with I pad type device playing games at high volume, without any consideration for other customers, however the situation was addressed by staff after complaints, it’s difficult to understand the thinking process of the child’s parents !

Will definitely return, but for a evening booking rather than Sunday afternoon.

和太太品嚐了海鮮晚餐，有魚，蝦和蟹，加上煮豆腐，炒牛河和2碗中式湯。排序推薦: 粟米湯第一位，煮豆腐第二，酸辣湯第三位，跟住是炒牛河，椒鹽蝦，星加坡炒蟹，最後是酸汁鱸魚第尾，尾位的鱸魚完全不好吃。

Belated 30th birthday dinner for my son & we were looked after superbly.

All dishes were beautifully presented, tasty, hot and the service was impeccable.

Thoroughly recommend for a special evening.

Lovely venue. Good service. Food is above average. Expect to pay a little more than usual if you choose to visit. Potentially a great choice for special occasions! We had a good time!

My First visit to Zenxi in Chelmsford. Excellent Restaurant. The food was delicious and the Staff so friendly. Live music which added to the evening. Thoroughly recommended! Cannot wait to go back again!

Decor is nice, up market. Wide selection of meat/sea food options. Couple of tofu options. Could have been more for veggie /vegan options perhaps. Food was OK, not sure if what I had was worth the cost if I'm honest but the service was great. Would I return? As a veggie probably not I'm afraid to say.

Parking possible at Baddow long stay car park 3 minute walk. £1 in the evenings.

Ohhh, never had a bad meal here. Staff are always friendly and the meals and drinks are all reasonably priced. We always leave satisfied.

Amazing food and service. Give it a go 11 out of 10. Deep fried ice cream yummy ????
