I have been going here for three years now and it is the best service I have received for both my hair and nails. The workers make you feel so welcomed, comfortable, and loved. The hairstylist takes their time and always asks me what I want and I would simply just go there to get my hair washed by them. This salon is always a remarkable experience. Go here if you want to get pampered and come out feeling fresh and pretty!
I love the experience I had at the salon they did everything I needed them to do, I had very long hair and it had been sometime since I had gotten it cut and styled and Cindy just exceeded my expectations. I have been to six salons around Duluth area and decided to give this one in Woodstock a try because my friend lived up here and told me great things about this place. Now every time I go get my hair done I drive an hour down to the salon, THANK YOU so much Cindy and the others for fixing what I thought could not be done to my damaged hair !
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A PROFESSIONAL CUT (ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR) I had scheduled appointments for myself and my partner. Was told both of us could be seen at 3:30. Arrived 5 mins early, only to wait until 3:45 for just ONE of us to be taken back. My partner has long curly hair (he had washed and combed through his whole head to make it easier on the stylist). No one ever asked about our hair texture or length prior to our appointment. If I had realized that this salon discriminates against curly hair, we would not have come here. The comments and lack of knowledge for how to cut hair was appalling. Not to mention, the stylist USED A DIRTY HAIRBRUSH. Was covered in hair. Following the first haircut, I chose not to continue with my appointment. (The stylist did not miss another appointment as I was supposed to be her other appointment). Especially since at this point it was 4:30 and I had other things to do. The stylist was nice but clearly does not know how to cut hair. And the nasty response from the owner, very embarrassing and unprofessional. My partner had been to this salon before and had a lovely experience. But after an extremely poor time, we need to share in hopes to avoid this in the future for other patrons.
Cindy is our "Family Stylist"! She's been doing my hair, my daughters and my six-year-old granddaughter for the last four years and would not change her for anyone in this world. We are Puerto Rican Descent and Cindy has been the ONLY stylist that's been able to manage our curly hairs!!! :-)
I have seen Cindy twice now. The first time she got me in same day when I decided to cut my hair on a whim. She worked quickly and efficiently and styled my hair quickly too! The second time was today! We had an appointment for 2:15... I thought it was for 12:30 and she very graciously squeezed me in. It was totally my error and she was so kind to adjust and made me feel like it was no big deal. I don’t ever get my hair cut regularly because I haven’t found the stylist that I care to visit more than once, but that has changed! I am now getting regular 3-6 month hair cuts and taking better care of my hair because of Cindy. Thank you!!!
Promised me they could trim curly hair. Hair stylist said she had never cut hair as long as mine. Ended up taking a hot
Iron and straightening my 2A curls. 55dollars for A waste of time. Split ends everywhere
I showed up after I had already combed all the knots out of my hair, pretty much still dripping wet. Just for her to straighten it and destroy 2 inches of random piece of my hair
Personal combing time:1 hour
Wait time: 15 minutes(I got there 5 minutes early for My appt)
Stylist Straightening my curly hair: 45 minutes
Cutting my hair: 25 seconds (I wish I was lying l)
Don’t come for hair
A truly remarkable experience. The nail technicians were fantastic, giving the best massage I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is peaceful. I highly recommend treating yourself to a wonderful experience at this hair & nail salon.
Cindy & Linda are the best in the business. I live in Roswell and travel to them to get my hair and nails done because I know I can trust them to do a great job. Even if I don’t love the results when they’re done (even though I always do) they offer the opportunity for me to come back and get it fixed for free. There’s no reason to not frequent a salon with a policy that puts their customers happiness above all else. Everyone in the shop is extremely friendly and professional. On top of all of that, it is the cleanest hair/nail salon in Woodstock - even by state standards. I’ve been coming to this salon for 3 years now and I don’t plan on switching things up anytime soon.
