Despite countless visits to Edinburgh, today was a first visit to Woods Barbers. The quality of cut was exceptional and top marks for the prices too. £12 for a hair cut in the middle of Edinburgh surely has to be unbeatable. Great conversation too! Look forward to returning.
Amazing place to have a hair cut, when I was going . Nostalgia in the cutting ✂️ hair from long gone by with a good atmosphere in barbershop.
The haircut and service were phenomenal. They paid lots of attention to detail. Probably the best haircut I've had.

Best barbers in the city by a long shot. Friendly staff, always have good chat and most important of all you don’t get ripped off here, nor do they mess up you’re hair cut. Professional five stars.
Went here as a wee lad growing up in the 1960s... fond memories of Mr J.F. Wood and all his athletics photos in the shop. I think a boys' cut (short back and sides) was 2/6.
An Edinburgh institution back then and so happy to see the shop is still there.
Excellent hair cut and beard trim from Ian, he handles a large beard shaping with expertise. Absolute pleasure as always.
