Bloody amazing chips from here yesterday!

Absolutely delicious!

Was debating whether to get curry sauce or gravy and we opted for curry sauce in the end and no regrets.

Chips, batter bits and curry sauce! Absolute treat and a North East delicacy!

Please come here and get this in ya belly!!!

Ordered on uber eats the only good thing was the priority delivery and the curry sauce.

The chips were old my fiancèe worked in a chippy and these were just chips laying around in the warmer they arrived cold and stale and were like rocks.

Half the laughably large fish was hard and dry the size was just medium at best nothing worth the cost the needs improvement.

Bunch of glue sniffers trying to sell what they call large cod for £12.50… was more like a large fish finger. Soon as I seen the guy frying rub his beard all over somebody’s food I decided this wasn’t the place for me and left the cue

Avoid this place like the plague, absolutely rotten!!! £17.50 for two Smokey and chips and two bottles of pop, all chip ends, cold and tasteless, staff have an awful attitude, do not eat here!!!

There was a queue but the young lady dealt with everyone in a quick, friendly and efficient manner. The food was cooked to order and this entailed a short wait but again this was not a problem and the young man cooking the food did a great job. The fish and chips were as good as any I have had anywhere. I have nothing but good things to say about the young people running the Whitley whaler and the food was very good.

Love Whitley Bay so thought would give this Fish and Chip takeaway a go. Queued for about 30minutes , queue wasn't even that long...staff were stood on their phones, ended up walking away.

Lovely staff, very friendly. Service was good and food was nice, especially the crab cakes. Definitely be back soon.

We had some lovely fish and chips today. 3 kids portions and 2 adults was ample. We have a lot of fish and chips and these were the best we have had in a while. Good portion sizes and the kids ages 10, 6 & 3 could not get enough. Fish was tasty and not too greesy with lovely chips. Will go again if in the area but will be travelling back to Kent so unfortunately won't get the opportunity.
