Sehr schöne Seebrücke.
Beautiful view, lovely atmosphere, and it is very close to Bristol. You can take X5,X6 and X7 to there. There are lots of Ice-cream shops, restaurant. I really suggest to go if you never been there. :)
What a fantastic location. Good place to swim, sunbath or just relax listening to the ocean.
Plenty of seating close by for your picnics. Park area close by for the kids to play. Beautiful walks along the sea front and the sunsets here are amazing if you are still here at the end of the day to enjoy them. Just a short walk further on to a lovely pier. Recommend visiting.
First visit to Clevedon as far as I recall. Lovely little place. Beaches fairly muddy at low tide, more sandy near prom with ridges of rocks heading out into the Bristol Channel. Promenade, kiosks, one small amusement arcade and fabulous pier. Lovely sea filled lake at one end for paddleboarding and swimming makes up for muddy beaches somewhat.
Lovely rocky beach with plenty of rock pools to explore. Can get muddy due to it being a tidal river estuary, so care needed with children and families. It's worth avoiding in winter if high tide as river Mud can be extremely dangerous and definitely not for walking on. On plus side, a lovely Victorian pier has been carefully restored, with beautiful views on a clear day over to Wales and lundy Island. Easy drive from Bristol and m5 and great cafes and a few pubs with seafront views ideal to relax and unwind.
Such a great place to cool off. The marine lake is a fantastic place to go for a dip or take the paddle boards. There's also some fantastic coffee shops, bistros and restaurants down towards the beautiful victorian pier.
What an amazing place to visit. I didn't swim in the sea but visited the pier which is really beautiful and niceley taken care off. Everybody is so friendly.
Small beach, but very pretty and great views of Wales. You also get a great view of Cleveland pier. Great for rock pooling, but isn't very sandy if that's what you're looking for.

Quick Facts About Clevedon Beach

Clevedon Beach has several strengths that make it an attractive destination for locals and tourists alike. One of its main strengths is its beautiful view and lovely atmosphere. Visitors praise the fantastic location and the ability to relax while listening to the ocean and enjoying the stunning sunsets. The beach also offers plenty of seating for picnics and a park area for children to play, making it a family-friendly destination. The presence of a marine lake further adds to the appeal, as it offers a fantastic place to cool off and engage in water activities such as paddleboarding.
Another strength of Clevedon Beach is its proximity to Bristol. It is easily accessible by public transportation, with several bus routes connecting the two locations. This makes it convenient for visitors who may be staying or residing in Bristol to make a day trip to the beach. Furthermore, the beach is also easily accessible by car, as it is located near the M5 motorway.
The presence of various amenities also contributes to the strengths of Clevedon Beach. Visitors note the abundance of ice cream shops, restaurants, bistros, cafes, and pubs along the seafront, providing numerous options for dining and refreshments. This allows visitors to enjoy a full experience, whether they are just looking for a quick snack or a leisurely meal with seafront views. The presence of a small amusement arcade is also mentioned, offering additional entertainment options.
The restoration of the Victorian pier is another positive aspect of Clevedon Beach. Visitors appreciate the careful restoration of the pier, as it provides a lovely, historic element to the beach. The pier also offers beautiful views on clear days, providing an opportunity to admire the scenery and appreciate the surrounding areas, including Wales and Lundy Island.
Despite its strengths, Clevedon Beach does have some weaknesses that visitors should be aware of. One commonly mentioned weakness is the muddy nature of the beach, particularly during low tide.
