Damien and Lenora are the best of friends ???? it's always so nice to see them both. Damien gave me feirce bangs and I didn't even have an appointment. He squeezed me in between clients, worked quickly and still nailed it. I gave Urban 4 stars because I did feel rushed at the end and nobody likes that, but as I said, no appointment and he squeezed me in so I get it.

I came in with all one length hair just below my shoulders and asked for something simple: trim my ends, make the back a little shorter than the front, and throw in a few layers. Look at what I ended up with! I gave myself this same haircut with a pair of art scissors when I was 6. Never again would I go to this salon.

Damian gave my son a perfectly styled haircut. He was fantastic and made us feel welcome. We will be back!!

Damien is a awesome person to get a haircut from , he got me the best haircut i could ask for and not a “two week” haircut if you know what i mean! He took his time to make sure i walked out the door happy , will continue to come back here

I have a hard time finding people who can cut my naturally curly and thick hair so going to new stylist makes me apprehensive sometimes. I came in for a cut and Tracy did a wonderful job! She was patient and asked all the right questions. Normally I can see the fear on my stylist face as they begin to just look at my hair, not Tracy. She did a great job and I could tell she is confident in her work. New go to spot! Thanks Tracy!

Oh my goodness gracious! Damian is AMAZIN!!! He fixed my hair(I had let a friend cut my hair a few days earlier-ugh!) Damian is AWESOME-especially with what he had to work with on my head-I'm a very satisfied n happy client-next time I need a cut I'm callin Urban Hair n Damian is the man!!! Thanx again!

I have been in tears since Thursday afternoon because of the butchering job done to my hair. I went in with very clear pictures of what I wanted and tried to talk to Lenore more than once during the process to make sure we were on the same page. She just seemed to get more and more frustrated with me. Once it became clear she had screwed up the style I just tried for some damage control. She even called over another stylist who I can guess didn't understand the style I wanted either since it just kept getting shorter and shorter and shorter. It is hideous. Not to mention the insults I had to endure while I was sitting at her mercy, comments about how I must have to stay out of the kitchen because I eat too much! Absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for. By this point I was trying hard not to cry and just wanted to get out of there. I smiled sweetly, said it was fine and that at least I could wear a wig over it, paid (using a gift certificate), and left. I have been having major anxiety attacks ever since. I am so upset. I have gone to this place before and never had a problem. My children have come here, my husband too. But now, I never want to set foot in there again. A quality salon's ultimate goal is to help people feel beautiful and empowered. This salon is not only subpar in that regard, they are damaging to the confidence of its clients to the point of being abusive.

Edited to add: I have added another star simply because of Linn. I went in to talk to her and she was very understanding and carrying. Although she agrees there is no way to salvage what's left of my hair right now I will go back to see her specifically once it grows a bit.
