Curry is standard, have had way better. Price wise a bit overpriced for what you get. Portion of chips was like over 3 pound something and it wasn't even much chips. Cups were dirty and some plates were dirty too, OCD surely played up. Some waiters are weird, just stare you whilst your eating and come and take stuff from table like they just want you to eat and leave.

It was great experience. The ambience is great and loved the service. Portions can be quite small and expensive.

Excellent service from staff that were always at hand. Food is always good. The venue is excellent.

The owner also was friendly and was hospitable to all customers.

Fantastic place to eat great decor, good food and friendly staff who go out their way to give you a great service. I have dined in and also take out. Recently ordered the leg of lamb and that tasted amazing. Literally the meat slides off the bone.

Extremely slow service, if that's what you can even call it. No attention to detail. No cutlery until asked, no napkins, then given only 3 for a table of 7. Ask for ketchup, one tiny pot grudgingly placed on the table.

The excuse was that they had a function going on upstairs. Well, if you can't handle the restaurant and the function, don't take reservations and tell guests that you're full.

Will not be visiting again.

I think the old place was alot better and worth the money. The tables and chairs at the woodlands definitely need investing in as the plates kept slipping off tables and chairs were uncomfortable. Tables wobbly. I think the staff should be told to tie hair up as hair was on tables.

We ordered the Lamb Shank which fell off the bone beautifully and tasted amazing, also a Sirloin steak with the trimmings which was also made to perfection!

Customer service was fantastic from Harvey and Leeya who very kindly sorted out a table for us, took our orders and looked after us well.

They both are a great asset to the restaurant.

Would highly recommend and we will be visiting again very soon.

I really did not know what to expect when I came here drive 140 miles to see what this place was about. We came on bank holiday Monday as a family we were slightly disappointed that the menu was a set lunch menu and not the full a la carte. However we did have some amazing choices. We ordered the beef roast, the lamb shank and the chicken roast all of which were really tasty. Beef was cooked perfectly medium as advertised. Lamb fell off the bone. The whole experience was excellent. We also ordered all the desserts that they had in house. our personal recommendation is the hazelnut mille-feuille it was absolutely devine!. More than the food the atmosphere was classy. The service was maybe one of the best we had. We can't honestly find anything to complain about. We will be back again when we can! Well done guys I think you have the got the service element spot on!
