Best PlaceJuice Reviews

I'm still sat at my table after eating a fantastic breakfast and just had to share how good it really was. Everything cooked perfectly and the fresh coffee finished it off perfectly. At only 4.75 for a small breakfast which included everything you'd expect, including hash brown & black pudding, it's brilliant value for money. Well done ladies ????
Great little cafe good food and friendly service
The coffee was lovely; fresh fruit scone; friendly and efficient staff. Premises and tables kept clean. Not expensive. Will come again.
Very nice Food and welcome you in and friendly people.
Been using this cafe for years and they're superb.. super friendly staff, excellent value for money and by far the best breakfast around 5*
It is a small cafe so it is best to get in early otherwise the only seats available are outside where you have the cold wind blowing through. The cheeseburger was ok, it was a bit interesting as they don't melt the cheese properly, they kind of just put this grated stuff and slightly melt it.
Nice café had a lush vegatrian breakfast with a newspaper :) it's nice and quiet in the morning too, which is wonderful.. for Stockton
Cheap for a reason. I ordered ham egg chips and beans, the ham was the nasty square stuff, not great. Loads of pensioners swearing like 14 year old children. My wife had a small breakfast, again cheap nasty pink sausages not good. There is little decorum is Stockton hence why these places thrive.

Quick Facts About The Shambles Cafe

The Shambles Cafe has received largely positive feedback from customers. Some of its strengths include the quality of the food, friendly service, affordable prices, cleanliness, and value for money. However, there are also a few weaknesses mentioned, such as the limited seating capacity, issues with cheese on burgers, and the quality of certain ingredients used in the dishes.
Starting with the strengths, many customers have praised the cafe for its fantastic breakfasts. One customer mentions that everything was cooked perfectly, and another states that it is the best breakfast they have found in the area. The inclusion of hash browns and black pudding in the small breakfast is appreciated, as it offers everything expected from a traditional breakfast. The value for money is also highlighted, with the small breakfast costing only £4.75, which many customers consider to be brilliant value.
The quality of the coffee is another strength mentioned by multiple customers. One individual describes it as lovely, and another emphasizes that it is fresh. The use of fresh ingredients is further highlighted with a positive mention of a fresh fruit scone. This commitment to using fresh ingredients adds to the overall positive dining experience.
Customers have also praised the friendly and efficient service provided by the staff at The Shambles Cafe. Phrases such as "friendly people" and "super friendly staff" demonstrate that the staff members make an effort to make customers feel welcome. Efficient service is also mentioned, indicating that the cafe manages to serve customers in a timely manner.
The cleanliness of the premises and tables is noticed by customers, with several positive comments about the cafe being kept clean. This aspect contributes to a positive dining atmosphere and gives customers confidence in the hygiene standards of the establishment.
On the downside, one customer mentions that the cafe is small and advises getting there early to secure a seat indoors. This suggests that there is limited seating available and that customers may have to sit outside in less comfortable conditions, such as feeling the cold wind blowing through.
Another weakness mentioned is the way the cheese is melted on the cheeseburgers. One customer specifically states that the cheese is not melted properly, and they describe it as grated and slightly melted. This inconsistency in the preparation of a menu item could be seen as a weakness in the cafe's attention to detail.
One negative comment regarding the quality of certain ingredients is raised. A customer mentions that the ham used in their order was the "nasty square stuff," which suggests that the quality of the ham did not meet their expectations. Similarly, pink sausages are criticized for being cheap and not good.
Lastly, a comment is made regarding the atmosphere in the cafe. The customer states that "loads of pensioners swearing like 14-year-old children" and suggests that there is little decorum in Stockton, which is why places like The Shambles Cafe thrive. This comment may indicate a negative atmosphere or a lack of professionalism at times.
In conclusion, The Shambles Cafe has several strengths, such as the quality of the food, friendly service, affordable prices, cleanliness, and value for money. However, there are a few weaknesses mentioned, including limited seating capacity, issues with cheese on burgers, and the quality of certain ingredients. Despite these weaknesses, the overall feedback from customers is predominantly positive, which suggests that The Shambles Cafe is a popular and well-regarded dining establishment.
