Absolutely no organisation when it comes to ordering. Absolute chaos. Waited over half an hour while multiple people went in front. A simple numbering process would save the painful process of being asked fifteen times what I ordered.

Absolutely excellent fish and chips, beautifully cooked cod with a lovely light batter, chunky perfectly cooked chips. The Plaice obviously change their oil regularly as the batter was crisp and golden, without a hint of old oil as so regularly found in other places. Prestine, clean premises .... just a bit of a long wait for food order but shop was busy so understandable and worth the wait

Very disappointing - portion size was very small despite asking for a large and paying more than I expected. I wanted to ask where the rest of my order was! I have had fish and chips in many places and this was by far the stingiest portion I’ve ever had. The fish batter was also quite soggy, chips were nice but there was literally only a handful of them. I won’t rush back.

The portion sizes are tiny. I questioned if the large chips really was a large, and was told it was. Nowhere near enough for 2 adults. The batter on the fish stuck to the wrapping, so I lost half my batter too. Fish was fine. Chips were ok.

By far the best fish n chips in Winchester. They are literally award winning to. Chris and co are friendly and welcoming. Support local business! A++++

Food was nice but I bought large chips to share between 3 of us, based on other Fish and Chip shops I thought this would be more than enough for us. The chips fed the kids...none left for me! Portion sizes need to be addressed, very expensive considering it was only enough to feed 2 children and they are not big eaters.

Another great meal. Superb quality, worth the money. Still maintaining the high standards after all these years of being open. Keep it up!
